    Thank you so much for saying, “you won’t get it in the span of this video” I’ve watched like 13 tutorials and they’re all like okay, happy skating! And then I get mad at myself that I’m not getting it 😂

    Range of motion is the key, yes, so It's helpful to have a spare pair of JB/rhythm skates around. I appreciate the positivity, too. Thank you!

    Love it! Thank you for showing the move in the first 10 seconds of the video there's so many of these I go through where they don't even show you what the moves are going to teach you is and takes forever to even get to that point! I'm 43 years old I just got me some roller skates and I can't wait to learn how to jam out!

      THANK YOU ! I finally found it also, wish I read the comments first. While Roller Diva is Great, there is a difference between a roller skating video and a Personal Documentary. In the mean time, I have to go practice the part where you dribble but magically stay in one place.

      What can I say? I’m a chatty broad 🤷🏽‍♀️. Happy dribbling!

    My classification is: beginner skater that likes to step on more advanced skills than what they should and end up learning them rather quickly 😅...😎💅

    How do I stay in one spot? I tend to go backwards when I do this. What am I doing wrong?

    • @rollerdivadancefit4851
      @rollerdivadancefit4851  Před 2 lety +2

      First make sure your surface is level. if it’s not, no matter what you do, you’ll slide backwards or forwards. If it’s not the ground, it may be foot placement. Check to see if your heels are pointed out, if they are, bring them in a bit. Hope that helps!

    This is a great tutorial! Should trucks be loose or tight when learning this?

    • @rollerdivadancefit4851
      @rollerdivadancefit4851  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks! Trucks are really a personal preference. So see what feels best for you while skating, and especially while turning. I tend to like mine in the middle, not too loose or tight. That allows the best, and most secure range of motion for me. Play around with what feels 👌🏾 for you!

    cool video..Just let them know to put those plugs in when they are on wood skating floors or...yikes,damaged floor...

      Good point! The felt I have on mine toe stop holes is going strong and protects it well. But I still always use a jam plug at the rink or indoors.
