girl you have the right not to like the baby you see all those scratches on the back of the head what was the artist doing voodoo before she sent it to you tf and the hands are not even painted its blank and the skin tone is not even .

The artist should agree to root the head for free AND in a timely manner, as rooting would have covered up the dings on the head
The artist was willing to fix the head for free but I had to pay for shipping which I didn’t want to spend extra money on. I ended up selling her and the person who purchased her didn’t mind the marks as she was going to get her rooted! But I agree, I wish the artist would have offered something in return for the marks.
I'd ask for some money back towards the repairs. Apart from that he is lovely, poor baby. Hope you can fix his head, give him a hug from me 🤗

If she was mine, I won't care about those lines because she is very pretty and I love so much my dolls that i will keep her no matter what. 🥰. I recommend to you to keep her or sell her or give her to someone who's going to love her just like that.

Wow! That is ridiculous 😒. It has nothing to do with you not "liking" the baby, and all about an artist's sloppy job and lack of professionalism. I would be devastated. Did u pu pay with PayPal? I'm always willing to pay the small fee in return for the added security. You took it with a lot of grace ❤.

@@MyaReborns people don't get it. It's not that you don't love the doll. It's that you planned, WORKED HARD, and threw down a couple of hundred (at least) for this reborn. The artist didn't GIVE you the doll. It's a mutual responsibility between buyers and sellers I bet if you paid her 75% of what you owed her, got the doll, and didn't send the rest of the payment, no one would tell the artist she should be grateful she received MOST of the payment 😄. I can relate. My situation wasn't as bad. I eventually bonded with the baby, but there were still feelings that really got in the way. Anyway, no use being bitter 😄.

I got a reborn (my first one) and it had a few dents in its head and it had painted hair ( it didn't in the pictures) but everything was spot on and now it's 96 days till Xmas and I have to wait that long.

I'm a reborn artist and I've done this sculpt before I did it at the same time as I was doing Alexis by Cassie brace and to be honest I kind of prefer Alexis to Ruby although they're very similar. I bet you would love Alexis, you should consider her for a next doll she's the same size nice big chunker monkey

That stinks but honestly I'd send the baby back n get a refund. This is the artists fault not sealing the baby and as someone else said the skin tone doesn't match between the head, limbs and belly plate. Not your fault or responsibility to pay for any additional shipping either to the artist or to another buyer. For as long as this baby took, they should have done the baby properly ;-/ Also, let people know who this artist is so others don't get disappointing dolls from her.

Hello, this baby was a custom from an artist. Not purchased off of a website, the kit is Ruby by Cassie brace. If I were you I’d start by going on macphersons arts and crafts or irresistible dolls and get the blank kit and then find an artist.

I got her as a custom from someone on Instagram, but they no longer paint Reborns. You can get a reborn from paradise Galleries, Ashton Drake or reborns.com 😄

Wow, a new custom baby…no excuse. She sent it to you peeling and stuff, just unacceptable. Just bold. Then an unmatching belly plate and there seemed to be something going on with the edge of it too. I’m sorry that happened to you. There needs to be a standard of quality when you are making art for someone. If you don’t want it for yourself, don’t send it out!
Agreed, if you wouldn’t be satisfied receiving this baby after waiting 6 months then don’t send it out to others! I was so disappointed, truly disheartening and it made me open my eyes and realize a lot of stuff about the artists in this community !

Wow this is ridiculous. You should not have to spend more money to fix something the artist did. You should tell us who made this baby so we don’t purchase a horrible baby.

Hi this video is quite old but this baby is long gone now , however she was painted by a correct legit reborn artist
This is poorly painted and clearly has lots of chipped paint....hands barely look painted.....I would be so angry waiting all that time and to recieve this poorly reborned kit ...such a shame as it's a lovely sculpt ....send back and go to a better artist...sorry this happened 😭

@Debra Barone the painting is too patchy the hands and feet don't match the body and the pain hasn't been sealed or it wouldn't have done that. If it was me I would be sending it back and asking for a refund.
