Omg that thumbnail jump scared me❤😂
Stab me in the heart - how could you not absolutely love this episode especially if you like stop-motion claymation? It plays into and jokes with the premise of all that is great about the media.
You guys have no hearts 😂
I love the detail that whenever you see Duncan come in and out through the curtain, you see the study room in the background.
Allison Brie (Annie) and Danny Pudi (Abed) gave a behind the scenes tour of the studio that did the stop motion which was actually created by the actor that plays Starburns. It's fun to see them goofing off behind the scenes, it makes sense why all the actors (Chevy excluded) have such good chemistry on screen.
You can find it on CZcams if you're interested, maybe even do a bonus reaction?
Yeah, got a feeling they're not going to bother given their reaction to the episode.
I love the real life details given to the characters, like Dani Pudi’s mother being Polish. Abed’s mom ends her Christmas card by telling him to wash his arse!
You enjoyed this episode about as much as I expected lol
Every time I watch a reaction to this episode I have to point out that ‘Lost’ is my favourite show of all time and for those that paid attention it paid dividends.
A great episode. :) I still have a few of the figurines sold by NBC at the time.
Yeah, the one with no Shirley or Abed even though It's an Abed episode. They're ridiculously expensive on ebay. When I was in the US in 2012 I bought a bunch of tshirts from an NBC store that. They all had designed that you can't get anymore but I wore them out a few years ago.
My all time favorite Christmas Specials in any show. Seeing the gang come together to help Abed heal through what's troubling him with a song always makes me tear up, no matter how many times I've watched it.
9:42 I love the Lost burn there Even though I love the lost finale
IT'S TIME to say "Thanks LOST"...
I need to watch this show. I never have. I feel like it's always sunny and the Eric Andre show have already desensitized me to whatever humor this shown would bring but I am curious. I just came here to give my props to Pixar Hendo in the thumbnail
The humor is very different to those shows, so I think you'd still find it very funny and also, heartwarming. Should give it a try!
it's more than cynical humour, it has more of a heart than always sunny (except for maybe season 4)
I recommend the show. :) And then of course watching this reaction channel. :)
Characters in Community are different to It's Always Sunny. Its just not one dimensional douchebags being one dimensional douchebags every single episode for 18 years.
Dan Harmon writes characters that aren't just sitcom placeholders.
Not to say It's Always Sunny is a bad show, I just dont care for it, but I understand its appeal. It's like Parks and Rec, I just didn't enjoy it but can see why people do unlike Big Turd Theory which is just horrible and bad in every way known to humanity.
If you don't like or relate to the characters in Community then you may not like it. But I have seen people who mainly like the "homage" episodes and the jokes and still enjoy Community.
@stackhat It's not? That's lame. I don't vibe with much normie shit lol I can't relate to it. Most of the people that I've known that have been in my life were closer to the gang. But not funny. I'll give the show a try tho.
i can't watch this episode without crying
dont listen to the haters.
that thumbnail is streets ahead.
also abed's mother is one of the worst people in the community universe.
what parent just stops visiting their child?
Good to know you two are dead inside.
Abed always gets a pass because he’s lovable and it’s a show but if he was actually hallucinating on this level he would need help & it wouldn’t be funny.
The thumbnail is nightmare fule. Well done 👍
jfc the thumbnail is unfathomably cursed (complimentary)
Yeah Abed's mom suuuucks. Who tells their kid "I have a new family now, sorry, won't be seeing you for Christmas, you're an adult, byeee"? Poor Abed. And I love you guys kept thinking Pierce wasn't going to be there at the end. He's lost his mother too, which is terrible at any age and the first few holidays without them are very, very hard. I love that they acknowledged that for Pierce.
Y'know, in light of seeing this again, sometimes I can kind of see Chevy Chase's complaint that they flattened Pierce into a two-dimensional character, even though he was overly abrasive about it.
Is it stated that she still lives in Colorado? She might have moved state and if she has young kids it might not be easy to travel. While Abed, along with Shirley, never have their exact ages revealed we know he's at least 21 since he had no concerns about getting into the bar last episode. I always got the impression Abed was 2-3 years older than Troy and Annie.
Anyway, Abed is a grown up. Can't be a kid forever.
"mommy's moved on" is such a hilariously awful sentence that shouldn't exist.
@@stackhat8624
so you visit your kids only when they are minors? once they are adults you just forget about them?
@@sabin97 She might visit other times, or Abed might go visit closer to Christmas. Its never stated. His mother has just broken their traditional of meeting on Dec 9th and Abed is having troubles adapting to that change.
If you had young kids and an adult kid who would you spend the most time with?
Just stare ahead looking bored and annoyed the whole time. Great reaction content there guy.
A lot of people love this show all the way through, but for me, that zombie episode while individually fun is when the show takes a sharp turn in to something that is a lot less grounded with less real (albeit thin) plots driving it forward. It always felt like the show could've been a little more than an episodic weekly comedy. Something to be invested in that wasn't just tuning in for a laugh, think How I Met Your Mother when it was good.
Absolutely love community but I always skip this episode on a rewatch. It’s cool the first time when it’s a surprise but the joke writing in this episode feels so off. I think you guys will like season 3’s Christmas episode a lot better. It’s much better written in my opinion.
Bitchin' thumbnail art, Lads.👍
yall went wayyy too crazy on the thumbnail lmfao
2nd
First, woop whoop
I never liked this episode...
