Ya gotta throw where they're living sometimes. The cots are pretty slick. It's not as comfortable as a bed, but not that far off. Especially with the inflatable pad on top of it.

Was relistening to the pool noodle guy podcast, and gotta touch on the cut bait for ocean run stripped bass, here in nova scotia ony 3 things are used for em when there running in the rivers and bays, cut bait (90% of people) whopper ploppers and and fly fishing make up the rest

Foul hooked always way harder to reel in, still a nice fish I’d love to catch
I got a 10.5 lb channel on a piece of sucker tail section that had been sitting in the sun for hrs last fall after using heads and mid chunks and not getting anything but a pike. 😂
And by tail section I mean 90% tail lol
So what makes you decide to sit in one spot for several hours compared to moving every 30-45min? I usually move every 30-90 minutes and it puts fish in the boat but I'm curious in what circumstances would you want to not move for 3-4 hours? I fish the Colorado river in Yuma, AZ.

Spencer when you are rigging head chunks. Why do you not hook them through the eye socket rather than the lips? Personal preference or do they stay on better?
The hook is less likely to rotate and hook back into the bait when you lip hook em.
