Maybe my memory is inaccurate. I could swear that I heard this Lani Hall song, "I Don't Want You To Go" sometime between 1980 and 1981, not so late in 1983. I remember hearing the song on the radio but it didn't get a lot of airplay. It wasn't a big hit but I loved the song because it was so sentimental. Perhaps it was re-released in 1983.

JUST WONDERING, IS SHE STILL ALIVE? I KNOW THE SONG BUT ONLY NOW I KNEW WHO SING THIS SONG. I HEARD THIS WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE ARTIST UNTIL SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT HE LOVES THE SONG SO MUCH ENTITLED ' i don't want you to go". SO MEANINGFUL IT TOUCHES MY HEART TOO.
