My name is Dmitri, i live on the Gold Coast Australia. I remember a tingling sensation i would experience when i was young, as i grew i found i could trigger the experience when i found the right set stimuli like the tone of a person's voice, gentle massage, watching someone focus on a task. This was before video and internet were in the same thought range. Over time i found and experienced many different situations to learn about all the different triggers for ASMR. I translated that experience & combined some innate ability to help people experience it with the high quality studio recordings to bring the highest quality tingles i can.
ASMR is a tingly feeling the commonly felt in the scalp area and often down the back and other parts of the body. ASMS is commonly experienced through a soft spoken or whispering voice, ear to ear sounds or binaural sounds, watching or experience massage, plus a Variety of sounds like tapping crinkle scratching.
Some of the benefits of ASMR might be sleep relaxation reduce stress and anxiety
I specialize in no talking ASMR video's focusing on ASMR sounds, i try to create different video for all the different preferences people have. Some of my role plays are based in fictional characters like Dr Dmitri & Manwelle
I loved watching massage video to experience ASMR so i like to create video to replicate these experiences with other, like head massage, back massage for total body relaxation.
What is ASMR ? A theory
When your cranial nerves receives information in the form of sight, sounds & Senses your brain may process this information as let us say a "trigger" When you cranial nerves find that perfect combination of "Triggers" it activates the full effect of the parasympathetic nervous system almost like a symphony neurons hitting the perfect note as wave after wave of feelings cascades down the nervous system down the spine and to many parts of the body
I believe it may then releases one or more of: oxytocin, acetylcholine, GABA, Serotonin, endorphins directing into the brain and blood stream Instantly relaxing, clearing cortisol, adrenaline and soothes the body.
There is another side effect of this symphony that it puts the brain into a alpha state and after the person falls asleep allows them to access a deeper delta level state during sleep.
This theory idea was put forward to me by a very special person, i believe they have a insight and understanding of ASMR that even i do not have.

This is amazing. People make lots of jokes in the comments but they don’t realize the knowledge and art it takes to do what he’s doing here. His videos help people with insomnia, depression and anxiety to relax and fall asleep within minutes. Prescription meds haven’t been able to help me for years, but this guy here has in just a few minutes through a video on my phone. Just amazing. Thank you, Dmitri!

Ana, I love your comment! You are so spot on. I too have tried countless combinations of scripts and relaxation methods to help me fall asleep (and stay asleep!) to no avail! Discovering that ASMR was actually a real thing (I had experienced it as a child and growing up in various situations, such as watching Bob Ross on PBS or in school when teachers would write on the chalkboard or when I would hear others writing with pencils, etc.) was so exciting for me! Then as CZcams became a platform for people like Dmitri to share their gifts, I was able to take advantage and make it a part of my rituals for sleep, anxiety, relaxation, etc., just as you mentioned. To me, if people are making fun of it, they don’t understand ASMR and what it’s benefits are. But for those of us who do know and understand, that’s really all that matters!

I almost forgot to add the most important thing. You were the first ASMR artist I found. I was going thru a medication detox on my own at my sister's house. She had a laptop that I could use and I didn't know what hells or nightmares my brain & body was going to go through. My personal physician wrote me scripts for a very heavy pain drug(I almost lost my foot in a wreck and worked on my feet full-time, all day.) Well it changed my chemistry and made pain worse as time went on(chronic pain syndrome). I have severe anxiety(okay, I'm a nervous wreck), so the trauma hospital I initially went to, my doctor there was great and understanding. He prescribed meds for my quirky system. Anyways, I needed to find meditation or hypnosis rp videos to keep me relaxed for ten days or so. That's when you appeared on the screen and I got my lesson on ASMR. I don't have the sensations, but they trigger relaxation and peace when you are afraid and alone in your own head. Now it's 5 years later and I have spread the news about my discovery to doctors, counselors and co-workers who need to de-stress or fall asleep. Thank you so much from Western New York!!! My husband and I have bought a small home in the quiet countryside. After 9pm, we don't even hear large trucks or farm equipment going by. Take care of you & yours in your part of the world.My brother, Mark, got to trek around New Zealand for a few weeks. That's as far as he got so far!!

From 0:35 to 0:52 is always my favorite part of these types of videos, or any no talking video. It’s what I imagine inaudible whispers to be. He is just mouthing words with enough sound to understand what they are and mixing them with hand movements. Sometimes I just watch those segments for that.
