Chicken is Sungjae being Sungjae. Crazy, fun and weird, but also very deep. Been waiting for your reaction to this, thank you for bringing me back! Love how this album shows us who Sungjae is and shows his versatility. My favorite songs are HMHN and Come With The Wind.
Three things: 1) the fact that someone wrote this song specifically for Sungjae is hilarious to me. 2) Sungjae is very deep but hilarious too and the fact that someone created this song because of what he said to them is just astounding. 3) Sungjae is the only artist I know or can imagine that would sing this song and still not sound ridiculous. Sungjae has a very lovely & emotional voice and his songs in this album are like a roller coaster of emotions..they get you high, make you happy, then make you sad, nostalgic and of course laugh and feel good. That's how I felt the 1st time I heard Chicken..it's funny, it's weird..but the song is catchy and then you get the message why he wants to be a chicken and it really makes sense.😊
