David and those first 4 Morbid Angel albums were so ahead of their time and still sound modern to this day.
yes! and the occult stuff was also very ahead, considering the trends of the 80s and 90s. nowadays, occultists are studying the simon necronomicon, etc. and repeating truths that trey and david wrote lyrics about.
He has a very good speaking voice!!
indeed very true vincent. and I always had similar reactions to my bands from my parents.
many parents assume anything dealing with extreme metal is just a psycho teenage phase, which is ironic bc most of their parents thought same thing bout them abd their music, like the Beatles.
The Beatles were pretty brutal by the 50-60's standards.

It is a natural evolution of father and son, but one which reaffirms how lucky I was. My father was always supportive in every endeavour of mine (chronic heroin addiction notwithstanding) and was even clandestinely proud of how successful a criminal I became.

David is still has that face of a true evil monster, lol, maybe he is a great guy but he has intimidating face
It's the people with the looks of a lamb but with the mind of a shark you have to be worried about. Even my sister says that David Vincent is a good guy with high intelligence

My mother was like David's father, yet she's totally fine with asking me for money to pay off her mortgage in the present day with any of the profit I make
His dad would have been right had Morbid Angel been one of a million other bands. You don't want your kids wasting their precious time, and most "bands" never make it past playing in basements or garages let alone trying to make it while getting paid 10 bucks a show, but after seeing then make an honest living off of it, how could you be anything but proud.
Didn't Dave Lombardo leave Slayer because he wasn't even afforded enough rent money each month? I'm not sure even top tier extreme metal bands earn much.
@@carpathianken that's because he wasn't actually a part if the band contractually, just treated as a gig player. But yeah extreme metal bands don't make much unless they're Morbid/Cannibal tier, that's a big part if why most extreme metal shows are in the winter, can't be a roofer to cover the bills in the winter lol

I couldn't get any info. on David Justin Vincents net worth but it states that Trey Azagthoth is worth $5 million U.S. .$5 million is serious money by anyones standards. What perplexes me is that Morbid was slightly beneath Deicide in 90's album sales but Glen Benton is only worth $400,000
@@carpathianken cuz Deicide went to hell after the Hoffman bro's left, so the album sales declined with every following release, and they don't tour nearly as much anymore. That being said, considering the huge gap between Heretic and illud the Anus, it's odd that Morbid members are worth that much. Mind you Dave has done non death metal stuff too, so I'd imagine he's sold more albums/tickets since he left Morbid. But it's odd that Trey is worth 5 million considering all the drug/alcohol addiction issues
