- Tonight's rotational DB90 pairing of Malcolm (90024) and Christine (90037) crawling through Stafford Station which at first sight seems great, although I later learnt on Rachel's CZcams channel "The Angel of Crewe"

that there had been a fatality north of Crewe which may explain why the blue box movement crawled through tonight. Rest in peace whoever they are.

The daily pair ..those most seen by folk up and down the country are the pair with the newest of liveried DB90s, 90021 now into a new funky Malcolm Rail livery, copying the design of a road vehicle and named after the founder "Donald Malcolm". The loco running number also bears a numerical significance with Malcolm Rail having been in operation for 21 years so 90021 is a great loco to mark this.
