You would think this was an unreleased rare track from “As The Palaces Burn” , “Ashes of The Wake”, “Sacrament” and so forth but ITS UNBELIEVABLE this is current LAMB OF GOD.
Blythe's voice is still incredible showing no age. Phenomenal.

I love Randy’s style of writing lyrics! So many bands lyrics fall on either the side of corny or absolutely disgusting (no offense if you like that) but Randy is a true word smith the shit he comes up with sounds so brutal yet intelligent at the same time!

@Yosef Cardoso art isn’t quite as technical but I give him a solid 9/10 those are some big heavy shoes to fill
@@landonw8982 Well while it doesn't sound as technical, i can say for sure that i needed more effort to learn songs by Art than those by Chris on the drums. Especially learning the fills. While it isn't too much different for the beats, Art fills and transitions are usually where i need more time compared to the much more common KKRLKKRLKKRLKKRL or single rolls from Chris. Art also seems to prefer using different rolls almost everytime while Chris seemed to prefer re-using the same rolls and add a small variation towards the final chorus, he was also overall a bit more repetitive. Best example i would have for this would be to compared Footprints to Memento Mori.
I love them both don't take me wrong and they're both phenomenal but there is no way to see Art as less technical for me after learning a few tracks from each LoG albums.
@@XDarkStrikerX I can see you’re point and I’m not bashing art I want to be clear on that I’m no drummer myself I’m just a very passionate listener, the technical Chris songs off the top of my head would be “ the undertow “ , “ break you “ and “ the reclamation “ Chris just gives me the feeling of packing notes and fills into every split second and being accustomed to his style I notice some spots on Arts songs where it sounds like he could of did a little extra but maybe that’s just the style difference , art seems more like the heavy and slower style drops with the big riffs.
For a split second i thought this was about art garfunkel.

Can honestly say that favorite unique sound of LoG I've always loved is back. They experimented, and it also worked, but this sound, this raw sound, that's why they're #1 to me, glad to hear it again.
Now we need Devy to drop something brutally heavy (with his humor) this morning and then Jinjer drop something today as well.
I see we have quite the exact same taste. I'dd add Shadow Of Intent as well and that's pretty much my perfect list.

I feel as if some of Lamb of God's songs are written specifically as a message directly aimed at my life, prophecies almost..Obviously, they aren't but many lyrics hit the nail on the head. Especially in their latest album, it's actually nuts to sit and listen to my favorite band tell the story as I'm living it. They've definitely saved my life when I was in my worst days. Homeless, hopeless, addicted and stranded. I'm still struggling but I'm on the right track. Thanks to their jams. Dudes fuckin rock. They give me hope.
