I love the 1969 Easter egg. Overall this car is really cool looking. The only part of it I don’t love is the front grille. It doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the look in my opinion.

Great video, the Z car is one of the very few imports I have owned, but have not had much of an interest in them since the 280. This one though...very interesting might have to go see if I can find one and have a closer look.
The design is an incongruous copy and paste job from the previous generations, lacking a coherent overall design style; the goofy looking front grill illustrates this. The engine, on the manual shift car, sounds like a sewing machine and so a decent exhaust will be in order. The car weighs about 200 lbs more than the 370Z and has electric steering that loses responsiveness and feel in comparison to the hydraulic unit. The price of the performance model is about $20K more than what I paid for my 2019 370Z sport pkg 6MT. For a few grand more, I think I would opt for the Supra or look for a low-mileage used Porsche Cayman S.

I owned a 1980 280ZX in black and gold and can see a lot of touches from the older Z’s in there.
