Can you swing your arms to the rear when they are straight down also? Like when you’re not exercising

I don't get the arm swing. Am I supposed to swing my arms I. Sync or diagonally??

1:21 "Tilt your upper body forward".
This is incorrect. The natural motion for walking is, as is to be expected, like the natural motion for running (as in Chi Running) - a falling column, only with less lean and therefore _essentially zero heel clearance_. Dreyer is wearing shoes with an incline ("drop"), so he has to add the unnatural upper body tilt in order to get enough heel clearance.
Instead Dreyer should switch to shoes that have zero drop, like those of Lems, Vivobarefoot, Altra, etc.

Please understand that I mean no offence here.
I am trying to practice this Chi Walking (struggling), but I am confused by some of the comments made:
"a falling column, only with less lean and therefore essentially zero heel clearance."
Not saying these comments are right or wrong....only that I don't quite understand them.
