CRUISE 5 WITH CONSTABLE HAMID VASCO 8 OCTOBER 2023

Hamid Vasco is one of the two first police officers with albinism. He tells the story of how he grew up as a young child with albinism, living in constant fear of being abducted or killed. But Vasco is a rare breed, despite those challenges he strives to live a normal life, playing social football, working in the cane fields, singing in the choir and all the other things.
He was later encouraged by a friend to sign up for a job as a Police Officer, after a lot of hesitation he went for it and was picked. He went through a grueling training as a police officer and managed to pass out as a constable. He now works as a Traffic Cop and says he enjoys his job as a law enforcer.
