if i simulate an input that IS wired in but is not actually on will that actually send the signal to the plc that the input is on? Like say if im doing some troubleshooting and the program is at a wait for input#whatever from a proximity sensor that is damaged or known to be out of adjustment and i just need to force it to get to the next step instead of climbing into the tooling and making sure the sensor is adjusted properly.

The input is only true in the program. There isn't a physical signal to the input card.

Thanks for the video Dan. In the IN/OUT menu there's network input/output menu's. Have you used them? Trying to figure out how to send a job (.jbi file) from a PC to NX-100 with FTP.

Hey I'm working on a project where we need a sensor input that starts our program. Only we don't really know in what number the kabel needs to go (like A5 or B7). And what IN number we need in our program at the WAIT command. We really hope you could help us! Thanks in advance.

Without a wiring diagram/pinout, I can't really help you. My set up could be different than yours.

Dan Staifer Is there any way we could communicate with each other. I'm pretty sure I can send a picture of the wiring diagram. My number is +31 6 21943195 or email: fritsmulders99@gmail.com. Thanks again.
