as a stats nerd I love that you broke things down at the start before getting into the tour of the shelves. (': It's an interesting way to get a look into your tastes! I think I might do that too whenever I do a collection video. Maybe also some genres like how much fantasy or romance or slice of life, to see how much (or how little) I have of some.

When I was looking up information about it, I found out through the mangaka's blog that she had been working on THREE manga series at one time! :o :o :o I'm like how she is even sleeping?! Another lovely video, Laura! I truly believe a collection doesn’t have to be humongous as long as it’s selective with titles you love ❤ I love seeing what titles others have, it makes me curious there are series I need to check out myself if our tastes seem similar.
Haha same with the shonen titles thou! Most of my manga is Shojo and BL and shonenwise I’m pretty sure I only carry Shaman King, Spy Family and Evangelion.

You should check out Kono Oto Tomare! There's an amazing 2 season anime but the manga goes beyond it. It involves high schooler with music and the romance is like the sprinkles on top. The sound of the koto instrument is beautiful so I highly recommend watching the anime to get a feel of the sound. And Chika is just soooo precious. The manga is beautiful, all characters are amazing, and its very touching. I've cried on majority of the chapters but because it's just that touching and beautiful. Sadly, there is no English released yet. Therefore, I've been reading scans but if you don't mind and somehow find it where ever you read digitally, give this beautiful manga a try. I know it will be one of you top read this year, I guarantee it.
Oh my goodness, this sounds AMAZING!! I *think* (definitely not 100% sure! LOL!) that my husband might have watched the anime a while back when he was a music anime kick! I'll need to add it to my watch list so *I* can watch it though!! Thanks so much for the recommendation! :D Also hopefully will get the manga in print!! What a bummer it hasn't come out in English yet! *sobs*

Ahhhh thanks so much for the recs! I just wrote these down! :D I haven't heard of Zodiac P.I. before and super intrigued on that! I found out recently my library has all of Kitchen Princess and definitely plan to check it out!
I love the series I'm the villainess so I'm taming the final boss. Have you read the light novels? They are good and go past the anime from what I recall.
I haven't, but I just got a recommendation for them yesterday and planning to try and get the first light novel here soon! Sounds like its even better then the manga and that's already amazing! Thanks so much for sharing about it!
