I think i've played this single player dozens of times. There is nothing that comes close, love it.
I never even touched single player...
Never got to drive a Gepard myself, but had the pleasure to see it (more or less) in action...
our unit was involved in a presentation for the general staff, showing how a convoy in Ex-Yugoslavia
would be secured (was back in ´96). It was displaying a joint operation, also with Dutch armored recons.
I was on the opposite hill from a Gepard giving AA protection, because I was the driver for our company leader, observing the whole thing...
Damn, that sound, will never forget it.
it was on the same occasion I was able to spend a while in a Luchs´ turret. Also a great machine for the time. It was a very interesting week in which
we got to "live" in a former US base. Compared to our small rooms with 6 - 8 people it was pure luxury :D
Another fun fact: Thanks to the Dutch that also was the first time I personally ever met women in combat units. The Dutch were way ahead of us in that
regard :)

How on earth did you get this game to work? I have tried so many things but for it to boot me out on the first mission by saying it has exceeded the 2GB of memory limit.
set program compatibility to windows vista. it seemed to work for me. After I did that. No more crashes.
I hate Bannon so much for his bickering and questioning this episode.

The thing is the Soviet military WAS better than the current Russian one.
The Russian military has about only one tenth of the budget it had back in the days of the Soviet Union, and there wasn't as much corruption.

They haven't even used there modern. Tech yet, only a few proto tanks, and been buying cheap rockets from Iran and north Korea. Trust me, they have better troops, but then again there generals are corrupt, their president is a dying lunatic and oligarchs who think they know more giving dif orders so the whole army in general can't combine there arms forces in a legit coordinated attack 😂

The Germans never shelled any buildings in ww2 in france, they surrendered after only 6 weeks, no civilian structures were ever damaged by the germans. The americans and brits on the other hands, well we know how that went, shelling from all parties.
Little fun fact The americans nerver even fought any Tiger in the war they saw only 1 and that 1 tiger was on a train ready to be transported for repairs.
The Germans totally shelled buildings in WW2 in France though. June 3, 1940, they bombed Paris and killed more than 200 people.
Furthermore during the civilian exode from the North, roads were literally full of people fleeing with their belongings. The Luftwaffe strafed those roads many times just to kill civilians, there were literally no french troops there.
As for the second part, yeah, the Allies bombed France to hell, doing way more damages than Germany ever did.
