Especially Michael Muhney. I Am Still Not Happy About The Way He Was Been Treated. That's Why The Shows Don't Have Plenty Actions Like Before. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I did not ever like how Gina Tognoni portrayed "Phyllis". When she first started I tried to give her a chance; however, she continually played the role as if she was angry! Every scene.....Phyllis was pissed off about SOMETHING. When Michelle Stafford returned, she was like a breath of fresh air. Michelle smiled; she laughed; and it was a pleasure to watch the scenes with Phyllis again! Firing "Paul" was just the stupidest thing!
She played Dina on Guiding Light as perpetually angry, too.

Agreed. Michelle is a poor imitation as Phyllis....even though she originated the role. Gina Tognoni brought so much more dimension
Agreed. I didn't think I would like Gina as Phyllis, but she brought so much more to the character. And I loved her with Billy. Michelle just doesn't have it as Phyllis anymore. And she seems a bit awkward around Billy and not like she could have been coupled with him.

2019-2020 I still miss MM’s Adam. If he was still on, he would, once again, make the roll of Adam Newman unforgettable.

I didn't like it when Michael Muheny and Doug Davidson disappeared those 2 are the ones that should have stayed. Hope that Paul is back on he will not have to leave again. Doug was there when it started. Michael was Adam in my book. Look out Y and R, I wonder who will be next?🤔

The only cast who is remains on The Young & The Restless is Eric Braeden who plays Victor Newman, since 1973 when it is premiered of that year, and he was 32 or 33 years old, and today at 80 years old, Eric Braeden is the original cast of the soap series for the past 46 years, making the oldest actor of the show. Eric Braeden remember Doug Davidson was wearing his shoulder length hair back in 1978 to 1980, and he played as Paul Williams of the soap series. Today, Doug Davidson is in The Young and The Restless for his 42 years already.
Eric Braeden is not an original cast member. He joined in 1980 or thereabouts.

Jill Foster is an only orginal cast member. Now known as Jill Abbott.
I always felt that Adam Newman as portrayed by Michael Muhney was one of the best characters. He always managed to slide out of Victor's traps and could stand toe to toe with Victor. Adam maintained a strong friendship with Jack Abbott. I was disappointed when they dropped the character of Sage. I thought she was Nick's best pairing. I was glad when they replaced Michelle Stafford with Gina. Gina was a much bettet Phyllis. With their last casting of Adam with some schmuck who's absolutely terrible, I no longer watch the show. After watching since it started, I've had enough.

I do like Michelle Stafford. But, I'm so wishing I could see Gina playing out the Phyllis story line that's happening right now.
And I just outright totally miss Michael Muhney's acting. Soooo wish he would do some type of acting again.

I like the new Adam and he is very handsome and a very realistic actor. I actually liked all of the Adam's except MM. I thought Adam was a little too creepy when he played him, certainly nothing against the actor, it was mainly the script. I hated his pairing with Sharon and was able to take him somewhat when he was paired with Chelsea. At that time he seemed to soften a little.
I miss Daniel Goddard and Daniel Hall.
Doug, Gina, michal, all should have never been fired, Do think new .Abby better, Doug was the dummest one to fire, sure glad to have him back.
Gina can return a few years from now as a new character. She was quite forgettable as Phyllis.
I think Michelle Stafford is *the perfect* Phylis. But the one who plays "Summer" is boring... I liked the actress who played Summer before.. but I can't think of her name.

I think the young and the restless is a good sopeburpa it's sad to see anyone leave the show how ever we feel about the cast members on the show I love the show it's also people act like this in real life when it really happens it's sad
Adam died when Michael Muhney left and Adam has never returned.
I can agree with all of this except Emme Rylan. I thought she left on her own accord. If it was budget cuts why did they immediately replace her with Melissa Ordway who has been playing Abby Newman since. Unless Melissa was offered a considerably less amount to play the same role.
I think *"the character"* Abby Newman did a FULL 180 when Emme Rylan took on the role. She went from quiet and sweet.. to domineering and an entitled spoiled brat.. in fact.. the actress was great.. but they *RUINED* the *character* of Abby by the way the actress portrayed her. I think Melissa is a middle compromise from one drab Abby to extreme obnoxious Abby played by other actresses.
@@rvpstudioscanada3991 Yes, that was all about writer changes. Making Abby more spoiled and entitled claiming Victor as her father and forgetting that Brad Carlton raised her. She went to the naked heiress being a Newman and a Abbott. That was the tenure of Maria Arena Bell with some idiot Josh Griffith thrown in. He took Abby and grew her up a bit. However Josh in my opinion is a terrible writer and has had multiple tenures on Y&R. Why they keep subjecting viewers to that hack I will never know. He always starts fairly strong and by the first year he's awful. I have since stop watch Y&R because of him and B&B because of Brad Bell
It was not that at all. Emme has said she was put on recurring status and taken off contract status so she wanted out and looked for another soap role that was a contract role. Yes, they put her on recurring status due to budget cuts but she was not fired. She did not want to on recurring. The funny thing is when Melissa Ordway came on the scene she was put under contract and not made to do recurring status like Emme Rylan was. Melissa is a much better actress anyway so the recast was good.
You people love to show the worst picture you can find of MICHAEL MUHNEY.
And what happened to Michael? He is a great actor.

Why didn’t you mention Victoria Rowell? She was fired before any of the others because of Michelle Stafford and the woman who plays Nicki Newman! You just act like she was never an important part of this show!

Gwen Hutchins I did not know she was fired, unbelievable.
What about Kelly Sullivan who played Sage? She was killed off and the actress wasn't even told until she read the script.

They treat these actors like cattle. Use em up in their 20s with lower pay, finally give them enough to live on in their 30s, then out to pasture in their 40s..the new calves are always relplacing the ones getting slaughtered.

So delighted Michelle Stafford is back as Phyllis. I never accepted Gina as Phyllis. Michelle created to role, made it her own. The character Phyllis was only suppose to be on 3 weeks when the character was brought on. Michelle portrayed the character for 15 years.

Michael Muhney was the best. He nailed the role. You would believe he was Adam's son. Michelle Stafford needs to go. Gina was fantastic and her character was much more like able. Stafford is too much of a hard rock. Hard to watch her.

Gina was *not* a good Phylis. She looked *too old* for the role. And something about the *original* actress Michelle Stafford, brought Phylis to life.. in fact Michelle is *AMAZING* as Phylis. She is sexy, and even when she smiles.. she looks like she is up to something. I met her in "real life" at a local casino. And she was amazing.. even with my *crazy* Italian friend with me .. who was treating her like her character. But the *original* Summer.. before Hunter King.. to me *she* fit the role better. Because.. she had *the same* kind of look when she smiled. *WHO KNOWS* what happened to her. But I thought that they made a mistake when Hunter took on the role. No offence to Hunter.. but if I was the casting director.. I would of kept the other girl. And btw.. HOW COME they *didn't* mention ALL THOSE SHARONS they hired BEFORE the Sharon (the actress) was hired??? FIVE SHARONS LATER.. We have a Sharon playing Sharon.

Bullshit! Gina seemed like a different character during her stint on Y&R. Phyllis is narcotic, insecure, wildly inappropriate and VERY funny! Remember when she followed Cricket & Paul on there honeymoon and sneeked into their bed. That was hysterical! Michelle created that character was was rewarded with two daytime Emmy awards. Glad she came back!

Saddened for me that few of this soaps no longer exists true I started watching soaps since grandma days back in the 60’s. Everyday I come home from school there was grandma watching her soaps then I became interested to watch good olé days grandma passed but I so continues to watch our soaps. True fan. Lots of this characters keeps bouncing around but love them still. There’s one more soap grandma watched was Love is a Splendid Thing something like that. Tv was black and white then and switched channels now then to keeping watching the other haha true fan .... were down to 3-4 soups now plz don’t even think to take any away.
