Thanks for a job well done! Your diction and graphics are easily understood and viewed. I’m 74 and, that being the case, need all the help I can get.👴🏻
I don’t know why but my laptop doesn’t allow you to press boot option priorities it’s grey instead of blue like the others and I just can’t press it or do anything further

Hey bro, mine is a little different. BIOS and Boot are 2 different parts. First I set USB as #1 in bios (DEL), then I reboot and ( F12) enter Boot options to set USB as #1 again. Then I save and reboot, but it just boots to my Grub Menu (I have 2 OS, so need a grub menu) and not the USB. So USB is set in both BIOS and BOOT options as #1, but no chocolate at all mate. The same usb will boot on 2 other laptops, but not this desktop PC. Weird huh?
@@cestraig Hi Craig, I should have explained. I can boot to two operating systems of which one is Win10 and the other Linux Mint. The grub menu is situated between the BIOS and the desktop of either operating systems, where one can choose which OS to boot from. I dont think the grub has anything to do with not booting from usb, because when booting from usb, it should never get to reach the grub menu. Just ignore all this and imagine it is actually booting all the way to the OS, because thats what happens in the end. Anyway, I since blew up the box and scraped it. Bugger!

What's a grub menu and what's it for? What are the benefits of it? 🤔👍
