Brilliant video Julia. The whole place is so well built. I could sit there watching the locos for hours.
As a retired train driver, I drove most of the Diesel electrics and all the electric locos but never a steam engine.
I did ride on a steam engine when I first joined the railway. The driver needed a driver's assistant to go a mile from the station to the yard. I was lucky enough to get picked. The driver needed to have a driver's assistant by law, MOT.
Never had to do anything but enjoy the ride. 😁🚂🚂🚂👍👍👍

Pardon my ignorance, but are the locos 'set and forget', or radio controlled, or is there another cunning plan to start and stop them?
A lot of them are RC equipped. I have a few manual locos which are more challenging to run and keep you fit chasing them around the track 😀
