Thing flies man. Love comparing gas and electric. Electric bikes can def crazy more expensive but I think it’s easier to get them going faster without worrying much. Comparing dirtbike and these electric dirtbike blow my mind how costly these electric ones are though
You nailed it man don't hear a lot of talk about this, the cost is insane coupled with an overall ease of maintenance but for the price of these new electrics I can buy like six gas bikes.
@@dereks8930 Haha right bro, nuts. This CZcamsr that goes by; “Suronster” reviews and rides electric bike and the cost is crazy. This that I realized is tho for electric it’s def easier to be safer with those, feel like it’s such so sketch with gas bikes some times but I mean if you have the right interns and know not to be dumb then your good. Also feel like it’s easier gaining mph on gas with simple stuff you also learn alot, you’d even learn some stuff that apply to actual vehicles
If you learn how to do it yourself it becomes cheaper. I build my own batteries which saves a bunch.
Honestly electro and co (where this guys kit came from) just about doubles-troubles the cost of parts. But they have amazing customer support and are US based. If you buy from the manufacturer their 730$ motor is 415 with 7 day shipping (300 without)and their 2.5k battery is closer to 1000 before shipping. To me it’s cost>warranty. For reference I’m building a 50hp electric yz250 with parts bought from the source and electronics are only 2k grand total.

Just took out my governor, oil sensor and stock cam on my new predator hemi and plan on doing a $400 build with it thanks to you and RBG for inspiring me, it’ll have a .265 cam, the stainless steel valve kit from gps with 26lb valve springs, flat top piston, cast aluminum flywheel, 30 series torque converter, and a #40 chain and sprocket with either 48 teeth or 52 teeth. Just waiting on getting the funds for it to buy all the parts, it’ll be going in a mini chopper.
Clearancing for a cam on a hemi is a pain from what I've heard. Also cast flywheel on a hemi? Where from?
@@16driver16 i found one on ebay for some reason the prices are like $60 but i found one for $50
@faxbest1336 I'm only seeing ones for non hemi at that price but I did find $70 without coil and $80 with and that's not a bad price, I'm considering it for my hemi with vm22, header and rsv muffler, 18lb valve springs as I'm not super into the ignition advance on the billet flywheel and the $130 it costs when I can't even show it off without a clear pullstart cover that's bound to break. I have stock camshaft, rod/piston and head/valves

When you first showed this bike I thought it was great. I thought "I would just go with a bigger battery." Nice ride.
might wire up the regen braking. Its great to slow ya down without heating up brakes. Charges up the bat a bit too.

Hey Mr Black66. Sorry for such a off topic comment, but do u know if the Predator 212 hemi and the Predator 212 non hemi have the same crankshaft, i called Gopower sports and Harbor freight and they dont know. I was trying to take off the old flywheel from the hemi and I strip the crankshaft tip where the nut goes with a hammer and now I can't get the nut back on there so I was going to switch and I don't have any measurements to tell me ahead of time if I can switch them and again I'm sorry for such a off topic comment
The Hemi uses a different taper for the flywheel .
Thanks I forgot lol. I'm just buying a new motor I'm trying to make it to stage 3 without an error but I keep messing up tiny simple things but I'll get it right one day lol see you next time take care
Hey black 66 have a predator 224 with billet flywheel and juggernaut torque converter my gearing is 14 clutch tooth and 40 rear sprocket is this a good setup for top end speed
I also have champion rockers flat top piston
Arc rod and stage 3 juggernaut tuner kit coming in I’m just trying to get my gearing right to hit high speeds what would you recommend thanks !

Yes, Pulling the hills takes power out of the battery pretty quickly.
If those rich people really cared about the environment they would do a gas engine buy back program and you trade in one gas powered motor for the electric kit 😊

Why not put the dual-piston caliper at front and the single-piston at back?
Put a cvt for that bike
