Thanks for the video, I bought an almost identical unit from Amazon but made by Ninetom. Same box and everything. Especially helped in where to put my WiFi antenna under the passenger side trim in my 2016 Audi S5. Have you had any issues with it since installation? I didn't bother installing the usb cable. Only issue I had was removing the cheap Ali Express radio removal keys afterwards.
hi mike, installed mine today but the recent app bar is on the left for left hand drive do you know how i change it to be for right hand drive ? thabks
It is a nice upgrade for Audi A4/A5/Q5. The multimedia system on previous generations of these cars is very outdated. Not being able to play music via bluetooth is just outrageous.

Does the system use the original microphone of the car in the calls through the Carplay module? Is the connection with the iPhone wireless? Im thinking to buy this module for my audio a1 and I'm comparing the different brands and models. Once you have been using it, do you still recommend it? Thanks
Yes it does, only downside after using it, it runs in the background so if your listening to the Radio, and have Apple Maps running, you won’t here directions. It will have to be on AUX to hear it.
I had the same issue. You have to push really hard on the springy part that the keys pull in when you insert them. Push those in while wiggling and pulling out on the keys, they should pop off. Try to push on that part with a flat screwdriver, or it'll hurt your finger tops lol.

You need to contact roadtop and get them to send you an update file to update the actual roadtop device

Every now and again it would lose connection, but mostly it’s been fine

If you put the car into reverse, does the reversing system come up on the screen? also do the sounds of the sensors work? thanks
If you install it properly, yes they should work

Were there any issues with battery drain or the CarPlay unit remaining on after turning the car off at all? I know previously I had issues like that
I no longer own this car, but I had no battery drain issues when I did.
it shouldn't stay on should shut off after you take keys out.
where did you get the removal keys? they are not in my road top kit

Apple CarPlay not huawei CarPlay. Perhaps you can do android auto instead as only iPhones can do CarPlay.
