Grand Turk is a common port of call for Carnival and Royal Caribbean ships. You dock at the Grand Turk Cruise Center. The Grand Turk Cruise Center features a free pool and beach area affiliated with Margaritaville to the left and Beached Whale to the right. You can also find small, local beach bars like Jack's Shack. The Grand Turk Cruise Center has shops and an informational presentation to the Splashdown. In 1962, John Glenn splash landed off the west coast shores of the Grand Turk in the Friendship 7 Mercury Space craft.

@@shazshaz8821 Wow! Coming in a little hot on a free video? I'm surprised you watched since I mention several times that access to Margaritaville pool area is free. I even spend 2 minutes talking about why people would choose to leave the free beach area to pay for beach chairs further down the beach.
Are we safe drinking the water and eating, as we are on the ship?
Not sure. Where do you plan to purchase your food? Do you have a sensitive stomach? Any allergies? I'd use common sense.
@@TripswithAngie Any chosen restaurant, actually. I guess we don't have to be concerned, as we would, if traveling to Mexico, where we shouldn't drink the water.
