This baby has definitely more energy than I have in an entire day
My husband and I took shifts for the first few months. I went to bed around 10 and was up at 5, hubs would sleep from 5 to noon. We were guaranteed 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. It worked well for us.

Having kids is amazing...but you use whatever tricks you can to stay sane!

As soon as your baby comes open up a savings account and put in 10 every week. Never tap into this account, as it will be their education and if girl marriage wedding fund. If you have a girl you need to put in 20 each week, as boys do not need a wedding fund. Good luck and remember just go with your instinct you can not go wrong, never feel as if you are not doing things right or you do not know what to do. Your caring nature will kick-in

Aww my niece and nephew are twins and they baby talk to each other all the time. They have special noises they make for each other and talk animatedly using their hands too. I wonder what goes on in their little heads.

This is me right now. Babies wake up first. Their hearing is sharp. A little sound and they're up waking everyone else. God I love my baby girl.

Wouldn't mind chilling in the bed with baby but when it's time to sleep baby needs to be in a crib.
@@aqua6613 All my siblings co-slept with our parents while a baby. I slept with my nephew when I was looking after him. I'd get up to check on him whenever I hear and feel him tossing. He only does that when he's hungry so I'd get up to make milk. There was only once or twice that I was a bit slow and he cried before I could get the milk to him. Usually, I'd find him snuggled close to me in the morning. I became a light sleeper throughout that period. Otherwise, I'd sleep through fireworks.

The first day you have a baby your life changes forever, I love babies.
This is the healthiest life for the kid. I watched one where the baby was in a crib and they used a monitor , it's so detached and not natural. But this, this is beautiful. The baby gets to wake up touching both parents freely. Lucky kid
Lol my daughter is the same! She’s 1.5 yrs old and still sleeps with us. She also moves a lot to the point that we don’t have much spaces in the bed and kicks us on our heads, neck, shoulders etc. lol toddler life 😅

Doesn't all babies sleep with their parents. I slept with my mom and dad till 5th grade 9 years old. Sleeping with parents so normal over here and DUHH young babies should sleep with their parents. I can't imagine a small baby like this having a separate room instead.

Thats true but when I put my baby in his own bed he doesn't sleep well. He sleeps better in our beds.
The problem is when a baby won't stick to a schedule and you could get up every 2 minutes to keep putting them back to bed, back to bed, back to bed for about 3 hours of the night (or more) or.. just have them sleep in bed with you and you both can actually sleep. I've experienced both situations and it really just depends on the baby!
@@Purity10101 that's the exact experience I'm having. I realized one night... " why am I spending so much time putting my baby to bed just for him to wake up every 10, 20 minutes?" So I started bed sharing and that was the only way we could get any sleep.
Yeah it really just depends on the baby. I absolutely had to sleep train and get my son in his own bed. We are both soft sleepers so if I moved I woke him, if he moved he woke me, when my husband's alarm for work went off he woke up. It was a nightmare. Finally at 6 months I did the Ferber Method, it was a rough week but in the end we slept so much better. I felt like a new person and everyone is jealous of how well my son sleeps. Goes to bed at 8pm, wakes at 7am without waking up once and he is 21 months now. I do long for night time snuggles but my son just isn't that kid and no one was getting any sleep so, it is what it is. We all just do the best we can to survive the baby years.

My daughter's both 21 and 18 I look back and thankful for those wonderful days.
My girls are 26, 16 and two Grandbabies 6 and just born Grandson on Christmas Eve. Time sure does fly... watching my daughter with 2 kiddos of her own.. even more wonderful. The wonderful never stops. God Bless you!

A baby belongs in a crib (their OWN room) NOT in your bed!! Parents that do this drive me nuts. You can easily roll over & crush or suffocate your child. It also does not help them learn to sleep on their own. Back in the day this was NEVER done. My one neighbor allowed this behaviour until the child was FIVE years old. And for naps, he was allowed to sleep on the sofa in LVRM. They never understood why they didn't get a good night's sleep. That was until I started babysitting. For naps, I made him sleep in his own room, in his OWN bed. (It was one of thise racecar beds, so cool!) I would draw the blinds & read him a story (like good parents do!) & then I would sit w/him for a few more minutes. He cried the first couple days, but after that, he actually WANTED to sleep in his own bed. The father couldn't thank me enough, as for the first time in five years, he was able to sleep through the night.
People can let their kids sleep whereever they want to. People that judge other people, especially parents, KILLS me.
@@Ooxxls can parents put their kids in car without car seats? It’s the same thing. There is scientific safe sleep guidelines for the same reason there are car seats. To keep kids safe and alive. It’s astronomical how many babies die each year from unsafe sleep practices! I am an infant and toddler sleep consultant, early childhood educator and nanny of 10 years and I take all safety, including safe sleep VERY seriously. When you know better you do better! Look up at the AAP guidelines on safe sleep. This day in age with the wealth of evidence based info online there is no excuse to not take any type of infant and child safety seriously. Then the day their kid dies from suffocation or positional asphyxiation they will sing a different tune.
@@LifewithKrystle there's no law saying that kids have to sleep in their own bed so it's basically not the same thing. Both of my children slept with me. ones now 10 and the other is 2. 🤯. I understand that it's generally not safe, but I felt like it was and i didn't like for them to be in another room without me. That didn't feel safe. I've always been a light sleeper and knowing my babies were laying next to me, I always made sure to watch out for them.
