Goddammit i miss the 90s..this album kicked it off for me, and a whole generation. FnM and 90s TOOL love shows were a straight up spiritual experience ypu kids will never understand. And sang along, lauged and cried all in one song. thats the way all the music was, back then...i met the drummer at a gas station in 2015. Hes really cool.

It was like being in a huge celebration and dream all at one time. I learned then that music was much more than just noise. It was a spiritual experience and a force of freedom. Faith No More in 90-91 was the best band of that time in my opinion. They were unlike any other band at that time and people loved them. Still do actually.
No way, man. His enunciation was so sloppy when he was young and the nasally voice was overused. He uses his full range now. He roars like a lion these days.
I still have the VHS of this concert that I bought for $2 at a yard sale back in '92. Watched it so many times I could actually remember the exact point in the song where Patton belches.
BRING BACK FNM!!! I just want another tour, just one. And it would need to have Patton for sure and Jim Martin, because in great guitar players no one ever brings him up and he's awesome. One of the best albums ever was The Real Thing and I miss FNM :(

Michael Colby right on great shit but you should check your definition of metal songs this is at best heavy/hard rock but I consider Slipknot and mudvane metal but then again people consider led Zeppelin heavy metal once again hard rock if anything

I love this song and this concert from Brixton..........Mike Patton is hilarious, he just mummbles....they actually first started rap and metal fusion with the song Epic i think
Yes the Faith no more gig was great. Aero as well but I remember being disappointed by Whitesnake. Steve Vai was more a "poser" than a guitarist that night. There was also an interesting band called face to face ( ex members of Trust ) that put the stage on fire. They strangely disappeared after that show...
Delacherie Jean-luc very interesting, I always think that Steve Vai wasn't the right guitarrist for Whitesnake, my vote goes with John Sykes. Can you recommend me a song from Face to Face?
Mine goes to the pair of guitarists : Marsden and Moody.Totally agree with you about Vai. I'd be really unable to recommand a song of "Face to face". In fact, I never heard about the band anymore since that concert.I just remember of a good r'n'r band on stage.
God Pattons brilliant and the band is just the perfect compliment to him. FNM is probably my all time favorite band. I only wish they were going to tour the US this time :(
I saw these guys in 95 (94?) at the Soma in San Diego. They were great as expected. The opening band was the Deftones (their first album, I believe.) The Deftones were really good (I had never heard of them.) The 2 bands matched and money was well spent. Everyone knows ahead of time that FNM is good in concert!
Of course I’ve known about them forever... but this song only (relatively) recently came onto my radar.. Other than Mike singing a tiny bit silly in places this hangs with many of the prog stuff I like thesedays.... That freaking drummer is GOLD.
There’s a lot of bands I love but FNM has got to be my favourite. I went to a concert in Melbourne years ago and was disappointed with Mike Patton, he had his back to the audience and his singing was atrocious. I was heartbroken. Then I went to another Melbourne concert a few years later and my faith in humanity was restored, they were so, so good. I then booked tickets for a Brisbane show and COVID hit, they never ended up doing that show at all. Another heart break. I miss Jim, he was such a dynamic guitarist. Still love them.
In 2022 and it is still fresh. So perfect song... And also so sad picture of future. As M.Patton said in 90's - there is no good music anymore. I was hoping that in this age there will be some good stuff but unfortunatelly it all stucked in 90's...
Ah, man, 33 here, and this is taking me right back to schooldays. This album is even better than I remember it being. There aren't many that you can say that about.
I saw this tour, shortly after this was recorded, at a small club in Georgetown called the bayou, it is closed now but, literally people were jumping off the second story balcony‘s into the pit, still today the most insane pit I’ve ever seen, also I agree with what someone else said earlier, it’s almost as if people were possessed, those who take the time to digest what Faith is about will be greatly greatly rewarded 🍻

The Brixton gig is up there with the best of them. FNM at the top of their game. Just fucking spectacular.

Jim Martin, fuck yeah! One of my fave guitar players of all time.
Listened to this album religiously when I was 15
Me too! Still listening religiously now!
So did I.

One of the most underrated bands EVER.
Well they are recognized as legendary by other famous bands. They're like a band's band .
Best band of all time. Bar none
Plenty of people rate them 🤣
Underrated my ass. The greatest band ever. You know it and so does everyone else.
This album did reach Platinum status in the US.
Jim's guitar really cuts it on this. Awesome.
Anyone else agree that Mike's 1989-1991 vocal style & appearance is by far his best?
Best singer ever in this concert, i know that much. funniest as well
No way, man. His enunciation was so sloppy when he was young and the nasally voice was overused. He uses his full range now. He roars like a lion these days.
Patrons voice is like a fine wine. You know the rest..
Yes, He is one of a kind!
Yes he was amazing in his 20s.. He has grown up down and sideways with his vocal style with every project he has
Mike Bordin on drums is like God in Heaven.... on his natural environnement!!!
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. This is fantastic songwriting from a classic album. Every song from this album was amazing.
This is actually Epic.
Absolutely the band's best track.
Its a KRACKEN in proportion.

Jim Martin's guitar in this video is one of my favourites of all time.

To me an iconic vocalist. Maybe the best...
Yes. He can do whatever he wants vocally. Mercury, to me, is the best but Mike is right up there.
