I went home for Christmas last year and was given a new amp for Christmas, I obviously didn't have any guitar with me so I went to my local shop to see what they had. I was looking for something either really cheap or a bit unusual, so I tried some Gretch models, Kramer, etc. Then I say that guitar and figured why not try it out, I got a smile on my face immediately, absolutely loved it and bought it immediately. It is the type of guitar that makes you sound good even if you are just an amateur. I am not sure how else to explain it.

Definitely some great choices now if you want a hot semi hollow. Zach Myers SE vs EVH SA-126 shootout? 🤜🤛
The PRS is about half the price of the EVH though - a serious pro.

I went into my local PMT store to try the EVH, but it had such sharp fret ends it was unplayable. Sadly the guy in the store couldn't care less (saying " it's made in Mexico, what do you expect") - lost sale right there :(

Absolutely love mine.
Didn't even know who Zach Myers was when I first spotted his signature guitar - but I was in the market for a semi-hollow, single cut.
It was the green model at that time, and I wasn't sure.
Then a few months later the blue was released and I just had to grab one.
Love how it looks, love the satin "wide-fat" neck, love how it sounds acoustically and love it's versatility.
About the only things I'd like to change/ add is a coil split and locking tuners.
