Thanks man. I sat in my garage realizing there were 4 ways I could install that bearing clip. Your vid answered my question of which way was right.
Thanks for the video and your time deicated to share info. Upon viewing the first section tabs are on the fork one way and then when installing the fork through the tranny the tabs are set on the bearing another way? Phrasis like, SOMETHING LIKE THAT, THIS GUY HERE. Dosent leave me with a whole lot of confidence
I believe the bunny ears are away from the shift fork
thank you for the suggestions! mine went together easy-peasy after watching and imitating how you did it! peace
Nice advice! I used it for my 04 Frontier!
This is informative because you show the spring going in the wrong way at first 1 star
I’m behind you at the drive thur, at better buzz
Nice video. Thanks
Thanks for the video
Thank you, my guy
THANK YOU!
At one point the clip ears are facing inwards towards the fork then they are placed facing outwards later. Which one is it?
Lmao I struggled for literally 30 mins putting it in the opposite way. Is the last direct he shows. Obviously you don’t need this information but I’m sure someone next time will.
I say what the fuck lmao
It’s a bad tutorial I reckon
Thanks i was wondering @@BBaSTheTrooper
how did you get it off? Local shop said they could not install the bearing to the old sleeve....
You put it on 2 different ways. The fork and clip. Which is the correct way?
Little bit too chatty most people just want to know about the spring but thanks for posting
agreed
Bro speaks yapanese
He’s being thorough for those that want to learn more than you.
How much its that labor cost??? 🙏🏻
I removed pilot bushing .No pulling !
Just am impacted drill drove medic bolt into pilot bushing and pilers to wiggle out ! 5 minutes 98 frontier 2wd 5speed
You can pack bread behind it too, put a socket in the center and hammer away.
how do you install sachs bearing?... It's not assembled on to the Part
Hey mate after installing the fork to the engine it's impossible to move back and forward with hand. My engin is in the ground btw. Is this normal.
Thats fine. You should have about .005inch of play which is next to none.
@@JaboTheMechanic thanks mate
Trying to press the bearing in using pipe and hammer doesn’t work with out a press, (Z32)
do u need to drain the fluid? my drain bolt is rounded
No you dont but it will leak
LUK clutch kit- have to bleed it every day to drive it...makes noise when shifting...no leaks ? anyone know why?
So I have a question 2 years later haha. @3:01 you clean up that shaft. It’s on a plate bolted in there. Mine was snapped off when I opened mine up yesterday. WHAT IS THAT PART CALLED PLEASE!!! ANYONE! Lol
same thing happened to me last week lol
But how do you take the bearing off?
Just pull it, some resistance is normal.
WHAT WAY IS THE CLIP ?????
the last way he had it seems to work best for me, currently doing it on my trans
