2022 Economic Outlook

Each year, Calgary Economic Development’s signature event, Economic Outlook, brings together business, government and community leaders to network and to hear about future economic trends and forecasts for our city, province and nation.
In 2021, we welcomed keynote speakers Todd Hirsch, Vice President & Chief Economist, ATB Financial and Frances Donald, Global Chief Economist and Global Head of Macroeconomic Strategy, Multi-Asset Solutions Team, Manulife Investment Management. We also heard from Minister Doug Schweitzer, Minister of Jobs, Economy and Innovation, JP Gladu, Principal, Mokwateh, Calgary's recently-elected Mayor Jyoti Gondek, Brad Parry, Interim President & CEO, Calgary Economic Development, and other business leaders.
