Alot of what I call newer modellers bash the ole revell kit but not me. I love this old kit as it was part of what got me excited about modelling. I remember back when I was in the 5th grade I'd been given this kit and it was the 1st kit I decided to take my time with. I looked forward to getting home after school to work on it planning out what I was gonna do next. To this day that old box art with Ira Kempfords 29 roaring across the beachhead still stirs the imagination. Love what did with this old kit the bird really looks outstanding.
Love seeing these older kits get some love.
Thank you my friend
Very nice work as usual. But I am wondering why the canopy is not aged at all like the all model is.
the Revell 1/32 F4U 1A is a great kit and my favorite. i've built this kit a few times over the the years and the beauty of the kit is that it's a very simple and great looking kit that you can customize to your liking. it's a nice empty shell of a corsair to add after market parts or scratch built parts etc..or it looks cool built straight out of the box. i scribed the panel lines on my F4U but your impressive control over the air brush and paint brush prove that you can capture the panel lines with painting and shading. Great job on painting and weathering the classic warbird!
Thank you so much ^^
June 21, 2019---Thanks for showing off your build....looks great as a bird being used on some coral island in the south Pacific. And boy, do I remember this kit. Got interested in building models back in either late '73 or early '74 while stationed at Panama Canal zone in the Air Force. Built it and Hasegawa's OV-10 in 1/72nd scale and happy with both endeavors. . Since I couldn't take them back to the states with me, I photographed them. About a year later, got to looking at the photos I had taken----the Corsairs U.S. insignia on the left fuselage was upside down?! And of course, I had put sidewinder missiles on the racks of the OV-10 as that's what the box art showed at the time. I had a lot of learning to do modeling wise.
Thank you so much

Thank you for the video, but I'like to do a question... Why don't you paint the model with the normal mimetic scheme? However, thank you very much for the video

Hi, i dont understand what you mean
Fabulous! , out of interest, how much does it cost ?, does the cost vary by scale?......
Yeah cost vary by scale my friend. The bigger the more it cost
In my country I got it for £20
Good Job....But dont do paint chips on the Control surfaces Alierons Elevator Rudder....they are fabric not metal.
Thank you so much my friend. I didn’t know they were fabric at first. Only knew when I have finished the model sadly
@@AirbrusherStudio Lol sorry to be the Butthole to pick that out Bud. I've been wanting to learn how to airbrush. I dont build plastic kits anymore like I used to. It would be great to learn so I can paint and weather my Rc planes.
Uh, I dont know???
Haven't heard anything from you in a while.
Yeah im vey busy with my job. Got little time at home to rest and back to work. But im still doing some videos. Gonna upload soon
Music drive me mad
Im sorry for your bad experience. Can you tell me what is wrong so i can fix in later video ?
It's obvious a lot of work - and skill - went into this. The effect though looks very unrealistic, in terms, that is, of anything I've seen myself in years of viewing original films, documentary videos, and photographs, No aircraft comes to mind that had the appearance this has. More a fantasy than a representation, is that what your buyer had in mind?
Thank you for the feedback, my customer demand me to do like this, he will add marking later on hehe
DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT... DON'T LIKE IT
But my customer like it and he want me to do his way. So... yeah
it sucks
Thank you but my customer is satisfied so its not that suck.
