A man who puts himself between his wife and a shark to protect her is a man worth his weight in gold. Prayers to the couple as they recover from this ordeal.
your husband loves you
A shark is a big fish
That's a real husband, he took care of his own.
She is a real trooper ! Lost her calf only a day before and still willing to to share her experience and warn others.
That clip of the beach with all of the people just standing there looking at the water and no one in it reminded me of a scene straight out of JAWS !
We sometimes forget that when we venture into the surf it’s the ocean’s residents world, we’re just playing in it for a time.
That victim is very articulate. Good explanation of what happened.
She is very lucky to have her leg!
Locals in Galveston told us never go past the first sandbar. Prayers for her recovery. That's rough.
the fact that she can still wiggle her toes says alot
I'm so glad she's going to be okay and her husband too, that was a lot of blood in the water and I feared she would bleed out but she's on the mend now and thank goodness she'll be all right. She's lucky she had help to get out of the water when she did and her husband was there for her. Many blessings to you both!
Devoted and loving Husband, father, and shark fighter lol.
Thank God your husband was there with you. Prayers for a full & speedy recovery. You both are so brave
It pursued her, it followed her. That's creepy. Usually sharks take a bite and realize we're not a seal or something and they let go.
I’m happy she had help!
Praying for speedy recovery 🙏
"I thought it was a big fish"... Am i the only one that had the knee-jerk thought: "Yes, that's what a shark is"?
Don’t go past the sand bar!
My husband and I were supposed to go that day but we arrived around 1:30 pm from our 8 hr trip and we were too tired to go. We saw what happened later that day so we were glad we didn’t go that day. We did go the next day and we were being very cautious. As my husband and I were swimming we noticed something in the water as well. I yelled at my husband to get out right away and we got out as fast as we could. Everyone started getting out too but a lot of people just took their phones to record which took me by surprise because I was expecting to have someone warn the lifeguard. No one did, so I ran right away to let the lifeguard know about what was going on. Along with lifeguard we managed to get the beach patrol that was near by aware of that too. They acted fast and were able to conclude that it was a dolphin. There were around 3-5 of them in the water. From someone who doesn’t go to the beach often that was a scary experience for sure. Luckily everyone was safe but it definitely something to keep in mind for the future. I pray for a speedy recovery for the people who were injured. ❤
