Microsoft PowerApps: Filter Gallery So Users Only See Their Items

- In this episode of the series we show you how to filter a Power App Canvas App Gallery to show items only the current user viewing the app has created.
This makes it personalized to that user and prevents employees from seeing each other’s submitted forms.
This has been achieved by using PowerApp formulas within the gallery to match the email address of the user viewing the app against the email address of the user that created the SharePoint item.

Bonjour 👍
Thank You a million, this is incredibly helpful. I just couldn't make sense of all that filter / display text that's created by default with PowerApps for the gallery.
Glad it helped! 🙂
thank you, right to the point
Glad you enjoyed!
thanks its working
Glad it helped!
Do you happen to know the documentation link that explains how the filter function works in detail?
There are some great pages on the Microsoft dev website
Hi, I did this and it worked for my app however I've had an issue where once the person clicks on the gallery item to open up the 'detail screen's it opens up a different issue and not the one assigned to their email.
Is there a quick fix for this?
Thanks
Great 👍
and what about if approval login and they can also see all records of user ?
Yes 👍
I have a Sharepoint with 120 records. I would like the user to only see their data. None of the users created the data, I created the file in Excel and uploaded into my Sharepoint list. The user will only be ewditing if the information has changed. How do I do this without using the email. I would like to use the users name. (one field-full name)
Great 👍
So i got this down.. But now what if I need to create an item for a user and have it show on their list?
Yes 👍
How do you show the most recent item created?
With filters
Hi, how can I filter/search for Person name
Yes 🙌
