Try not to do a lot of high screams cause they'll tear your vocal chords. They're super sick, don't get me wrong, probably the best I've heard! I would just hate to see you lose your ability to scream at all. Just some advice. Sick video, can't wait to hear more stuff! :)

Ik i'm late a little bit but it's just a lot of harmonies. He can't do these kind of vocals live unless he uses harmonies tracks as backing vocals or he needs someone else to sing these harmonies. He probably won't ever sing this live anyway.

for all of you who don't know, the lead vocalist did vocals for a band that Sumerian used to have signed called Makemefamous, I'm not informed as to what happened to that band. But I can say that the vocalist is extremely talented, he had a channel on CZcams called So Above, I think.

in case it isnt obvious by the song, the band doesnt care if you hate on their style. also, as a musician i can point out differences between AA's Stand Up and Scream and this.
1) D&D play in drop G# tuning (atleast that's what i've commonly seen in the comments, i find it somewhat hard to believe that but we will never know till someone covers it/ tabs it out.).whereas Stand Up and Scream was entirely drop D tuning. (and for the record, AA has never played below drop B)
2) as anyone can tell, the singing is completely different. Danny, raspy and more manly (now atleast). This guy (sorry im new to the dude and his music) has a cleaner voice and from the live videos ive seen, he can actually sing. Danny couldnt actually sing well until about a year ago (no offence to him)
3) the screaming is quite similar, but with that said the highs are different.
i can almost garuntee you that if you had just heard the song, no video, no knowledge of the band or label, and then listened to a prophecy, you 'labelers' as i like to label you (yea i know, screw off) would find it a lot harder to prove your point.
and yea, i thought the song was pretty badass, he's clearly telling his old band and anyone else who wants to talk shit about him or his music to fuck off. in the music industry thats a pretty ballsy thing to do. sadly most the haters are apparently deaf or too ignorant to understand that.

I agree with most of what you said, except Danny having a more manly voice lol. But yes, people need to quit saying this is generic.
Down & Dirty plays in Drop G not A :) The tuning it's not important, the important it's to find an own sound and try to don't copy other bands. In my opinion Down & Dirty has an own sound, people compared their sound to Stand Up And Scream only for Dennis screams and growls, because who follows him for long time knows that he's clearly influenced by Danny and Asking Alexandria, but at least he tried to don't imitate others bands like he did in Make Me Famous.

Dennis (the vocalist) stated on a video he put on his channel that asking are a huge influence on his writing and his vocals. This sounds nothing like asking. It's sounds like a song they would write but it doesn't sound like them performing. What's wrong with showing your influences. Avenged Sevenfold does it. Asking do it. Motionless in White do it. Why kill a winning strategy?

Down & Dirty quieren mucho a denis el motivo por el que la banda tiene nuevo vocalista es para que la banda siguiera lo feo esque el voclista que tiene ahora es muy aburridor lo cual se tiro la banda por completo... igual forma el vocalista que tiene ahora la banda es como decepcionante a comparacion cuando denis estaba en la banda daba mas emocion y mas y era mucho mejor, creo que denis regrese pronto a down...

Denis's screams have really improved from when he was in Make Me Famous, they have less voice and more grit
I preferred his screams back then because they were unique and he could do them extremely well live but these new highs are okay, tbh the awesome lows make up for it by far
***** I saw a recent video of him live and he can pull off his new screams really well, and, as always, he sounds like he drank a bottle of autotune before he went onstage
