Barnegat Bay Hankins Island Abandoned House 4K Drone

In the Barnegat Bay of New Jersey, you will find an island that is populated by a whole bunch of birds and a single abandoned house. This island is commonly referred to as Hankins Island. However, the official name of it is Middle Sedge Island. In this video, I captured some aerial views of the island and the house with my drone.
The house was ruined during Superstorm Sandy and has not been rehabilitated. It will likely never be restored due to environmental regulations.

My family lived across the bay from this house. I remember when people lived there and the lights would be on with boats docked. It must have been a second home for them because we only saw it lit up in the summer months… Was so cool to jet ski around here… it was such a beautiful house. Has been vacant since Sandy in 2012

They’re now getting ready to demolish the house. Such a shame, I remember the house when I was little and it was well kept and people lived there.
