Matt Barnes came through for yet another VladTV interview, and this time around, he started off speaking about how things have changed since his last interview three years ago. Matt then addressed the controversy surrounding Celtics coach Ime Udoka, who was suspended for a year for sleeping with a staff member. Matt explained that he initially thought the suspension was harsh, and he added that he misspoke after getting a better understanding of the situation. Matt added that he doesn’t want to divulge the information that he was given, but he explained that he can’t rock with what Udoka did. Vlad then pointed out that it’s not that he slept with someone, it’s who he slept with, and Vlad added that he’s never understood sleeping with co-workers as a business owner. - Zábava

Just the other day I was talking to some friends about the impact of remote work on the social side. So many people meet their partner in office jobs, or just make friends at work. Now there's no small talk around the office, no going out to lunch, all of that's gone.
This is one of the two big "forced interactions" where you get to meet people (school being the other), so a lot of people meet that way and it can get uncomfortable if they break up, but as long as it's not someone who has authority, even indirectly, over the other person, it's not such a big problem.

85% of cheating happens in the workplace just as much as workplace violence…Corporate is messy…Especially without a union…Unions can protect you from being wrongfully terminated and has nothing to do with a job being severely dangerous or hazardous… Many city, state, and federal employees have unions that provide benefits, insurance, and pensions and etc.. @Dj vladtv I agree with you but I have come to realize as professionals we spend more time around our jobs and professions that we build these relationships with our coworkers not knowing how things may end up! So sometimes it becomes this grey line we end up traveling.
Dating in the workplace is common. You spend most of your waking hours at work. I’ve dated a couple of co workers. One was serious and we dated for years. Now we worked in different departments end we kept it all the way professional..even when we were on the outs we never jeopardized our jobs. Ime was in his first year as head coach and I certainly wouldn’t risk that for an affair with a married person. He had too much to lose. This is a hard lesson for him. I’m sure he’ll get another head coaching job. He has a whole year to think about his actions.

The suspension is most likely a placed holder until the lawyers figure out how to release him without having to pay him his full dues. Also, it was used to get him out of the workplace and make him go away. If he is fired he is owed his money, but if he steps-down he is not entitled to the money, chances are they will land somewhere in between and he will be released from his contract with a mid/small payoff.
Protocol. Usually with larger companies and people in higher positions there's usually an investigation that proceeds a final decision.
(The CEO of BB&B who just committed suicide in front of his wife, he'd just gotten word that an investigation was being opened on him. (He was more than likely guilty and facing prison time and would've rather ended it than face the humiliation and discomfort. )

From what the "rumors" are saying, the issue isn't the workplace "relations". It was the sexual harassment in the workplace after it ended on his part. "Supposedly" it was multiple women and a possible pregnancy on top of his over the top harassment that caused the suspension and is the reason the women aren't being named. (All rumors mind you.)
