Today we try and predict the Packers final 53-man roster before the start of training camp. A lot will change from now and cut down day, so here is my best guess at the final roster.

I call kalen king making it
I agree. I think after training camp it will be obvious he's got the talent to make the roster.
Not
Heâs definitely makin it over ballentine
King will definitely make it. The roster needs it to barring the injury bug you know
I see Clifford goin to the P Squad, Pratt is just a better prospect and to make the same point 0 teams will go after Clifford vs may be interested in Pratt so better to keep it secret keep it safe lol. I did a write up on Dillard and he's washed man, he's a depth signing at best, my boy Caleb is gonna make the 53 for sure. I have Welch above Ty'Ron Hopper and Kalen King I see beating out Ballentine.
Side note, love the new subscribe graphic pop up at the end! Great content as always bud.
I agree pratt is a better prospect, but maybe off age alone clifford gets the opportunity to suit up
cutting Pratt is craazzzy. drop Brenton to p.squad or Tyler Davis
I was watching your packers highlight videos as a middle schooler, im 25 now, awesome to see the growth on your channel and love the content, keep it up fam.
Caleb Jones WILL be on the active roster. There's no way he'd fall into the practice squad without another team snatching him up
With Jon Runyan Jr. and Yosh Nijman signing on elsewhere, Green Bayâs offensive line was going to have to reshuffle a little no matter what in 2024-25. After the team turned in its 1st-round 2024 NFL draft pick for a rookie tackle Jordan Morgan out of Arizona, though, the competition kicked up a notch. As many as 7 offensive linemen could be considered as possible starters going into training camp, depending on which way youâre leaning into these head-to-head battles. Only 9 offensive linemen made the 53-man cut on our consensus prediction. Personally, I think that the team will keep 10 big uglies on the team in 2024-25, as the team has generally kept 10 or 11 under head coach Matt Lafluer. The returning starters are Rasheed Walker (left tackle), Elgton Jenkins (left guard), Josh Meyers (center), and Zach Tom (right tackle). On paper, the team should probably only have a starting job open at the right guard position, but the Packers like to cross-train offensive linemen at multiple positions, which also tends to open the door for unexpected camp battles. Behind the returning starters are 3 offensive linemen who can legitimately push for their starting jobs: Sean Rhyan, Jordan Morgan, and Andre Dillard. Sean Rhyan was worked into the Packers lineup last season as a rotational player who was paired with Sean Rhyan, who is now a New York Giant. Sean Rhyan is likely being viewed as a guard-only player, as thatâs the position heâs primarily played in his 2 years in Green Bay, so I expect him to be the 1st guard off the bench if heâs not named the Packers preferred choice at their right guard. Jordan Morgan seemed to be getting practice time at both tackle positions and at both guard positions in the spring. Thereâs no doubt that the 1st-round rookie will make the team. The question is just whether or not weâre going to see him play extended time once the 2024-25 regular season comes around. The final name of the note, as far as the possible starters are concerned, is Andre Dillard, who comes to Green Bay after signing a 1-year contract with no guaranteed salary just before the 2024 NFL Draft. At the moment, Andre Dillard has been receiving most of the teamâs number-one snaps at right tackle, as returning starter Zach Tom has been dealing with a pec injury. Andre Dillard has also seen some time at left tackle over Rasheed Walker. The players who arenât involved in these 1st-team camp battles who made the 53-man cut on our consensus prediction are Jacob Monk and undrafted rookie Donovan Jennings. Jacob Monk played all over the line for Duke, but he is expected to be considered a center-only NFL prospect at the NFL level due to his size. Until he starts to see some reps over Josh Meyers, you can go ahead and assume that heâs going to be a reserve as a rookie. It will also be tough for Donovan Jennings to crack the Packers lineup this year, but the Packers went out of their way to pay a sizeable amount of guaranteed money ($110,000) by Green Bay standards for Donovan Jennings when the 2024 NFL draft ended, despite the team drafting 3 players at the position in 2024. Donovan Jennings was a college left tackle for Alabama-Birmingham but he will see most of his playing time as a guard in the NFL. All selections other than Andre Dillard and Donovan Jennings were consensus selections. Luke Tenuta (tackle), rookie draft pick Travis Glover (tackle), and Caleb Jones (tackle) all received at least 1 vote to make the 53-man roster by our staff. Surprisingly, no one picked Royce Newman (guard) to make the team, despite him starting 24 games going into the final season of his rookie contract. One reason for this salary escalator he hit, which will multiply his 2024 salary several times the original rate that the Packers signed him back when he was drafted. If the Packers keep a 10th (or grasp 11th) linemen, it will probably be a tackle body. The team has enough depth and versatility in its roster that the interior shouldnât demand another roster spot allocated to the position. For example, the tackle-only players who made the 9-man unit that comprised our 53-man roster prediction are Rasheed Walker and Andre Dillard. Tenuta, Glover, and Jones should make up a competitive battle, if the Packers choose to keep a 10th. Tenuta and Jones have both been stashed on Green Bayâs 53-man roster for the last 2 NFL seasons, despite having David Bakhtiari, Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker, Yosh Nijman, and Elgton Jenkins on the squad. Travis Glover, who is admittedly a work in progress, is hulking 6,6â, 317-pound tackle who was taken in the 6th round out of Georgia State in April. Along with Royce Newman, 2023 practice squadder Kadeem Telfort (tackle), and Lecitus Smith (guard), who was signed by the Packers following a tryout at rookie minicamp, also didnât make a 53-man roster on any staff memberâs list. I think Jordan love will make the roster
Bas, I'd be content with your roster predictions for the upcoming season. I wish the league would add two more players and go with a fifty-five-man roster. Maybe an even, eighteen-game schedule would finally make that happen. Teams then would be able to carry an extra OT, DL, WR or DB/S. I do like the current practice squad format, especially when injuries start adding up as the season progresses. Some difficult decisions will have to be made for sure.
It will be interesting to see how Carlson kicks with Bowden snapping. Maybe this will be the change that Carlson needs to nail down his Packers career. But if he struggles again, I can see him being cut in 2025.
Michael Pratt will be QB2 & Clifford going to practice squad if they donât keep 3.
I think Kalen King will make the 53 too. Donât wanna gamble with a team scooping him off the practice squad & taking a chance on him.
I would like to know. Of Carlsons misses. We're the snaps late, ball placement. Etc.
im ok with PSing king( hopefully vikes dont try n get him with the passing of khyree)
Go pack gooooo!đąđĄđąđĄđąđĄđąđĄ
Don't sleep on Pearson making the roster over Tyler Davis. Special might be the difference but he offers more on offense then Davis does. But then again we will see. Grant Dubose and Malik Heath will be a tough one. I like Caleb Jones but OL room just soooooo crowded
I dont see most teams having more than 2 qbs on the active roster with the newer emergency QB rule
Dillon the is number 2 running back in greenbay
Kickoff s just another play now, so use your starters. Only play left is puntingâŠso no special teams only players pleaseâŠ
Kalen King makes it man cant deny it đ
I dont see packers keeping 5 tackles either , either they put Glover on PS or cut Dillard.
Dude been predicting Newman gets cut since he got drafted lmao. Newman been trash but must got some dirt on Gutey
at the very least i would PS deslin alexander
Did Kingsley enagbare change his name?
Michale Pratt making the roster
I feel toure needs a chance
PS goforth
Kalen King is making the roster over belentine
Grow up
I predict DuBose has a solid preseason and makes the 53
Iâm interested to see if the Packers do indeed keep 6 WR on the 53. I can see a scenario in which they donât. There is a lot of talk about Wicks having a breakout year. If the Packers feel comfortable believing that to be the case I would trade Doubs for a 2nd or 3rd rd pick. Itâs hard for me to see the Packers keeping 6 WR on the 53 when Malik Heath had to be inactive for a couple of games last year due to needed personnel at other positions.
This might be the stupidest thing Iâve ever read
@@sammaury4129 Iâm not exactly gonna go out on a limb, but I would venture to say you said the same thing when the Packers drafted Jordan Love. Romeo Doubs is at his best when Watson, Reed, Melton, and Musgrave open up the field and allow him to work underneath. Heâs a solid #2 receiver at best. Whatever production he gives the Packers can be replaced.
@@HELLRASR He played with Lazard on the other side.
@@jeffbenjamin6480 Christian Watson was on one leg in the Cowboys game, and yet the Cowboys rolled their coverage to him because they were concerned about getting beat over the top. Romeo Doubs was able to exploit that for a huge game. That is what Doubs does in the Packers offense. He exploits matchup advantages that other receivers have. Wicks and Melton are perfectly capable of stepping in and assuming that role.
@@HELLRASR I'm talking about the year before while Watson was hurt and Rodgers at qb
vikings may very well claim a guy like Kalen King off the PS
Clifford get's traded.
what for? he's a UDFA caliber player.
@@pythonbyte On August 29, 2018, Hundley was traded to the Seattle Seahawks for a sixth round pick in the 2019 NFL draft
â @@kennethhammondand is he Hundley?đđ
@@camronclarence8214 They have done it before.
Not he will be a backup 2 but Michael will 3rd because he a rookie but I can see him taking it next year
Andre Dillard isn't any good. He should not make the 53 man roster.
I like him but he has to many ads.
Bro doesnt realise he can skip through things he doesnt want to watch
Leave him alone, let him make his money đ° đȘđȘ
