I don’t buy the theory that poltergeist activity is actually caused by tension between teenagers and their parents. If that were the case there would be poltergeist activity in every home with a teenager in it. Vases would be exploding on a regular basis. Also, it strikes me as victim blaming. What if there is a malevolent ghost - or a demonic entity - in the house? It might be sweet old Aunt Mary or some other befuddled ghost who just needs a few prayers and a nudge toward the light, or might be something else. And if it’s something else the priest should exorcize it. I read about one family who had a demonic entity in their home. By the time an exorcist was called in, the whole family were sleeping on mattresses in the living room. They were too terrified to be alone.

I agree with your point about the poltergeist activity not being caused, inadvertently, by teenagers. That just moves the mystery from one source to another and doesn't explain how an object can move or get thrown without anyone touching it.
However, I can't speak with experience as I've yet to witness that particular type of phenomena myself.

I can understand why the church would want to keep this type of thing quiet because there are too many people who simply poo-hoo and just don't understand the existence of spirits.

They're more than happy to promote the "existence" of a fictional God though...doesn't add up.

Very true. I think they’re also careful because there are certain fundamentalist churches who see the devil under every other bed. I don’t think the Church of England wants to be associated with that kind of hysteria.

Isn’t it compulsory for every English structure to have a ghost? 👻👻👻👻👻

I think this man needs a far greater understanding of the spirit realm and how the enemy works. He does not appear to have the discernment needed to operate in this field, the gift that God gives a person to be a Deliverer. He seems like just a curious novice.
