Yes farmer p please plant lots of trees, I will send you a tenner to plant some on my behalf if it’s possible, others should do the same. Let’s get this planet green again.
Good Evening Mr P. Hope your day went well and the girls and wife are also well, I take it you are getting the same as us here in Norfolk rain rain rain i don't have to work in it like you all do. Well just going to watch your muck out. Chat again soon.
Another great video. I find those swing out type hitches OK. Same set up on the uncles New Holland 8340 as is on your Case. The hydraulic push-out type are the bees knees though. Same as here in Ireland so, plenty of water and muck about!! although the last two days have been dry and cold.
It's good for the soul, ( so I've heard ) to lend a helping hand, and if that hand is crossed with a 'piece of gold' for your troubles, so much the better. It would seem that the cows are content with their 'cleaner' floor now.
Got my mug thanks . Working on your own you don't get the advice !!! No doubt they will be back like bad smells !! Glad you show us green grass . It's all bushfire here
Mark Foster We are complaining about too much rain, but my sympathies go out to all you guys and your animals who have had none at all. If I was a religious man I would pray for some rain..... For you, not me. I would be willing to swap some of our weather for a bit of yours, share it all out a bit more fairly 🙂
big sloppy pile of mud muck and straw there Mr P great stuff for the land though would it be a good Idea to maybe concrete that area at some time in the future therefore not having such a mess also when you are scraping that area out suppose you loose a bit of ground height each time looking at the wall of the shed ground getting lower. great video as always keep up the great work. S C UK.
Ooo the trailer is out again!😆. you'll be doing that forever if we don't dry up this winter but saying that, we're frozen at the mo 😊. I'm guessing the lads didn't see the reeds in the ditch then?😂. You can even seen on camera there's a fair ditch there. Least he dropped you a couple of quid for it.
Hi farmer p great vid could u do a vid some time on your fire wood processor I am young lad who thinking about starting a firewood selling business thanks keep up the good work
Nathan Cannon We have one of the most basic machines Nathan, it’s a Palax combi 2. For Arb waste timber it’s faster than many of the bigger more expensive versions, it’s a lot more manual, but Arb cuttings are rarely straight cords so they end up being handled anyway. I suggest you do your homework before investing in the business. You need to be aware of local demand, competition, availability of round wood, yard space, storage, handling, and delivery costs. Add fuel, wages and insurances and you can work out expenses and projected profit margins. Don’t over stretch yourself on finance mind, it can bite you in the bum and turn you into a very busy fool. I don’t want to put you off, if you have the space and the customers you can make a reasonable living at it. If you have your own woodland, even better. 👍
You need to think very carefully regards economics if your timber source is to be bought in. With bought in timber you will be competing against those with their own woodland or processing arb waste that they've already been paid to remove. If you already have a tractor and yard space though it becomes a more attractive idea.
At a guess they haven't had it long and are at the stage were they think a 4x4 makes them invincible. I can remember getting pulled out of mud once by a tractor in similar circumstances, I was young and didn't know the vehicles limitations. You quickly learn but most people who have actually driven off road will have got themselves stuck atleast once.
Nice interesting hookup it's almost the same as the old allis chalmers snap coupler. One other nice thing brakes on the trailer if I'm not mistaken very rare around here would be nice to have when the wagons pull out to pass you especially if you're pulling tandem life might not be as exciting Thanks and take care Almost forgot you might want to delete there license plate number on the video there might be people wanting to have a chat with them🚔👮😇
Lawrence Kieffer Number plate theft is not uncommon on cars, not so much on tractors though. Smaller tractors come standard with hydraulic brakes in the UK, larger ones get air brakes as well.
@@FarmerP biggest problems we have with licence plates is the illegal immigrants don't have them. Same as drivers license ditto on insurance. Interesting on brakes eventually we will catch up i hope as the loads on tractors increase the stopping power has also got to increase really like your videos some things are the same well you call it muck we call it manure but i bet it stinks to but some things are different. I noticed your hay feeders have straight bars on them ours are angled that way as the cow comes out of the feeder her jaw opens and she can't pull the hay out. Either way both educational and entertainment thanks
@@FarmerP All the tractor type things I've driven had purely mechanical brakes. No brakes or lights on the trailer - so could only be used on the road during the day.
@@FarmerP wel not for a shiny red case. I have once helped over 200cars out of a meadow. Everybody was in evening dresses and de men in costume at a open air concert. When before the end one cloudburst gel down on the meadow where al the cars where parked. I got a lot of laughs. How do you tow a Lamborghini out of a realy wet meadow that is on a hill and soaked. CAN'T YOU MAKE A SMAL "RIVER" FOR THE WATER TO ESCAPE ?. MAKE A CONNECTION WITH THE TUBE WITCH LEAVES THE HOUSE . AND HOW ABOUT A FEW ROADS IN YOUR PLACE TO CONNECT SOME PARTS OF THE FARM ?
Hardcore Farmer Oh no. They were stuck alright 😄 we get a few every year in that ditch, usually youngsters. These guys had been off green lane (off road) driving and had spotted another challenge on the way home. The ditch is at least 3’ deep, but the weed makes it look shallow. Ben Kendall I reckon they were traveller types that's a good way to walk onto farms asking for a tow and also eye the place up at same time looking for quads etc etc!!??nice to give a 5er but still bit funny why u wud just drive into a ditch like that???!!
DingleZilla Actually our local branch are very good, I think there was a lack of communication from the top down in this instance, but the general idea was great, just as long as there was a local mug available to do all the work. 😄
