Thank you for this clear, informative video. Makes sense, and I better understand the organic basis of the 5 elements and the connection between them. Also, quite frankly, metal was one of the more confounding elements, but I understand it better now. I'm just now turning to classical Feng Shui, from western Feng Shui, because I think I was getting it all wrong which was absolutely creating chaos these last years.

really informative thank you Tima!! Did I miss something here? the opposite of Management/Control. For instance, yang water can control fire, What does fire do to water in that case? what energy is it?
Good question. You are a more advanced student, LG. :-). We definitely cover the complexities of the cycles in further depth in my training program. Yang vs Yin elements kind of changes things, doesn't it? Thank you

@@FatimaMohRamzi Characteristics of the elements are superficial and seem like more of an interpretation of the "word" used to describe the element. eg: Fire has as much or more to do with spirit than a destructive force. Water is not the fluid shapeshifter, etc, it has more to do with the unmanifest, storage, quiet, winter, cold, etc. Look to study books like the Huang Di Nei Jing or I ching for deeper understanding. These books are books to be read/studied for a lifetime. Just my opinion.
