The drop rate is correct on wowhead and it shows it's a drop from a "rare" mob (not rly rare, read the first comment on wowhead for the mob).

By luck I knew about this farm for a week now and grinded it for 5-6h every day. So here are some points but TLDR it's not a good gold farm. 1. The mantle of thivese only drops from the defenders and other lvl30 elites. So your only chance to get them is the two guards he mentioned. There is a caster mob and 2 other defenders that pateoll in a very slow circle up to the guards, so be careful. If they are gone, you can clear the right side one by one all the way to the boss who drops the +11 agi weapon. Be careful of the caster mob tho, as he can freeze chain you. 2. Left side you can clear all the way to the warrior quest mob, but that path also has a very low numbers of defenders. 3. The best chance at gold I found is to clear the right side until you reach the tunnel with the boars, and then completely clear that tunnel to the Escort quest and further. The boars have a good chance at dropping greens, but again it's all luck. You can spend 4h farming and only get 1 green belt u can sell for 40s. 4. With a bit of finess you can actually clear up the entire Escort quest, so I ended up selling full Escort quests, where people just have to come in and pick it up. 5. On average I was making around 10g an hour and after farming it for ~45h I have yet to see a blue boe. Most of the gold came from lucky green rolls. I also made around 50g by selling Escort quests, but that depends how fast you find people. Be careful, cause after roughly an hour the mobs start to respawn, so you'd have to clear that path again. So to TLDR, I don't think it's a good gold farm and you have a low chance of getting blue boes. There are other ways to make more money with fishing and other much simpler farms. If you want to try the rfk farm out tho, I highly recommend to boon a world buff for it
Also I got "Feet of the Lynx" from a trash mob in Razorfern Kraul. It was fairly early in the pulls, I was killing time while waiting for my group to show up. Also - as others mentioned, I got the polearm from one of the guards that is by the corpsemaker dropper guy (we werent able to kill that corpsemaker boss his level 32 is just 1 level to high for us to fully kill)
In the triple pack you talk about i always kill the caster while kiting the 3 mobs back to entrance. Leave and re-enter then clear the 2 quilboars from the pack.
So not sure if its time efficient or not, but how I deal with some of the 2-3 pulls is I will actually clear the other side first and burst down one trap other, make sure pet has agro on both and I will actually run down the path until my pet despawns. Then I will call pet and bandage/mend before the mobs get back. I can clear both sides (before first and second boss) before reset. Takes me about 20-30 min. This is in leveling gear because I have not done pvp or raiding yet on my hunter.
On the 3 mob pack the NON DEFENDER add wanders around a bit and can be pulled without pulling the Defenders, if the mob was far away enough from the Defenders.
Verdan is definitely killable! Solo'd him twice so far as a fresh lvl 25. Just have to use Cheetah to outrun him and kite him in a circle around the room when he finally does kill your pet.

I have the polearm, got 3 warriors who wanted there quest and 1 resto sham. Did the star spear boss and the adds either side of boss can drop spear as well as boss. Boss trucks though so I doubt you can solo as BM
I'm pretty sure the shoulders don't drop from the lowered leveled boars and stuff from everything I've read online (idk though for sure). Imo this farm is still very doable with cat, but terrible compared to farming humbert's helm for horde (or any just normal high level green mobs in hope for boe).
I see this farm as worth it if you are after the grand prize of the shoulders but if you are a different armor class or aren't interested in the shoulders for whatever reason, the WC farm is really a good gold per hour farm. Might even beat this one if we talk about more guaranteed income

Even if it does it doesn't matter at all, back in classic I did 100+ runs of every sub lvl 60 dungeon on my 60 just to figure out loot table, this dungeon gave by far the worst result in terms of GPH, you'd be big time better off soloing deadmines as a horde than RFK, and for alliance, stockade outperform RFK by a factor of 5.
Same information I got. There are so many versions of the game, and so many posts, websites, and videos that still have information that is no longer valid in them that it is IMPOSSIBLE to believe anything that you see or hear anymore regarding this game.
That 3 mob pack there is a time where you can pull just 1 mob he steps away slightly and its enough for him to pull solo, ive only done thos farm 1 time 1 run coz i was trying for the polarm and i managed to pull them separately
very true, since the video, someone else in the comments mentioned the stutter step the close mob does and it works like a charm. Very nice for clearing up the tunnel leading to the boss cluster. I still don't stand a chance on the bosses solo but I do plan on finding a solo farming strat in phase 2 in here. Just might need some levels first
@@GladiusGamingGG there is a really good kiting method where you run down the tunnel and up a vine then use that to double back past them and then you can go up the ledge and jump off while they run round down the tunnel again, rinse and repeat, just take taunt off your pet and keep aggro on yourself
Just found a very dumb way to kill the shambler in WC. If you use Eyes of the Beast with a Serpent, you can pull him, spin and use Lightning Breath quickly and turn around, run all the way to the edge of the drop off, cancel Eyes of the Beast, call your pet back and heal if necessary. The Shambler will aggro to your character, just use Eyes again, repeat until he gets low.
Did three runs for the polearm with some guildies - 60% drop rate, two of them per reset, didn't get one.... running 1hers for double hit stone until trident anyway...
The polearm only drops off the guards of the boss, it definitely drops ive gotten about 3 now on my hunter. might be hard to solo though as i done that run as a duo.
I tried this, but i can't solo the double pulls :D I have a somewhat decent gear, but i just can't. Or to be precise, the pet can't :D I moved to WC solo, which is alright. Not a crazy money, no 90g items, but i got a few green one, and a lot of leather, so i made like 6 gold. Im trying to figure out the best gold farms, and maybe i'll check back on this one later, with more buffs, of if i have better gear.
I am wearing the Spear in game Aluhunt--LavaLash we had 2 of the rares spawn in 1 play trough so me and a pally each got one (there was no one els that could use pole arms)

I had the pole arm drop for me off one of the two guards, but sadly my party wiped right when I won the roll. By the time I got back to the dungeon, the bodies had despawned along with the pole arm... :( On a side note, can anyone confirm what mob drops Troll's Bane Leggings? Been getting conflicting drop tables. Been trying my luck on Shadethicket Bark Rippers this past week with no luck, but still profited around 70g off other BoE's

as a hunter you can clear the entire wc run only you can not do the special boss. same for in dmm you can clear it all as bm hunter only van cleef needs some special tactic but still easy done.
Do this with my hunter, for 8h in total, got 2 blue items 2h sword and shadow spell staff. THIEVES MANTLE probably drops from 30+lvl mobs, so you can`t solo them(
I've been running this loop in RFK now for a couple of days and I'm getting absolutely nothjing. Green drops are all lvl 19/20 and worth next to nothing and not a single blue yet...
Improved revive is great for solo content. If your pet dies on a sloppy pull, it is easy to hop a ledge and get a full cast off before the mobs catch up. Or gain distance with cheetah and rip out a quick revive. I wouldn't take this spec into raiding though. I have a full BM guide coming soon if you are interested
Because if your pet died in combat, you can quickly bring it back to life. Especially if you r soloing elites.bm build is not for dmg output but survive long fights. Same goes aff lock.
Yeah I couldn't break about 75 dps with the spec but like you said this spec isn't meant to raid with . With my raid spec I go Marks and getting a little over 110 dps atm @@tokopaaisen2927
The problem with WoW today is that there is TONS of conflicting information. In this video he basically says all that good blue loot can drop off of trash, but others tell me that they do not drop off of trash at all. They drop off of specific mobs. There are so many versios of WoW at this point, and so many videos filled with facts that were then changed by Blizzard that is 100% impossible to believe anything that you see or hear about this game. Sadly. Good video, but I can no longer take anyone's word for anything in this game.
Try out the WC farm I mentioned at the end of the video. For purely gold, I think it is better GPH. This one though, is great if you can wear the shoulders because they are BIS

You can walk back to the entrance of the instance, right click on your character frame and hit reset instance. At that point when you go back in, everything that you killed will be back
@@nonameileosYou must not keep up with changes but Scorpid got nerfed at least a week ago now. WC is hard to solo even for a 25 Hunter due to all the sleeps the Druids cast on you.
I think it is possible to solo him. I tried twice on my hunter with about half pre-bis gear and a cat. I died early the first time but got him to about 4 percent the second try. I think with a bit better gear and tankier pet someone could do it. Everything else was pretty easy up until that though.
don't know if this farm is worth it, the good items have like 0.0X droprate, which is 1:1000 at best. If you get a carrionbird with screech you can cleave down WC and make easy 20-30g per hour with your HS at crossroads, can even take a bag instead of a quiver and fill it up as the ammo goes down, so easy 2 full clears per hour, you can even sell the blues in there to people.
You arent getting these drops unless you spend 24 hours a day farming this, why do you think he didnt include the drop percentage in the screenshot he showed.
Found this farm before I found the carrion bird. Carrion bird can do well here but I find the major hangup is tanking a long fights due to single target damage. I feel like if you have a couple decent pieces, the carrion bird should do fine but bear is a good backup if it keeps dying
@@GladiusGamingGG really quick farm. It drops off the boss to the right that has the two spear guards (the guards drop it). You can easily farm it with 3 people (maybe 4 with the pet nerfs)
This farm is not good. You might get 20s in 20 minutes at best. You cant rely on drops to make gold, you can easily not see a single green the whole run.

Would recommend going to tb to sell things on the auction house so you can get the boon lol. Can kite safely with it, wont need cheetah.

I tried to farm the aliance quest item for about 12 hours , just got greens items so i dont think so man

How many mobs are you killing? I’ve played Classic since launch and I’ve NEVER seen a BOE drop in RFK, ever.

in WC you can solo first boss with rogue or druid and get best legs under 5 minutes

Did you check the % drop rate ? with 0,06% it is not a solid way to make gold. You could farming this for years without dropping any BOE.

Why put the 2 points into improved pet revive over impoved aspect of the hawk?
Improved revive is great for solo content. If your pet dies on a sloppy pull, it is easy to hop a ledge and get a full cast off before the mobs catch up. Or gain distance with cheetah and rip out a quick revive. I wouldn't take this spec into raiding though. I have a full BM guide coming soon if you are interested
Because if your pet died in combat, you can quickly bring it back to life. Especially if you r soloing elites.bm build is not for dmg output but survive long fights. Same goes aff lock.

Yeah I couldn't break about 75 dps with the spec but like you said this spec isn't meant to raid with . With my raid spec I go Marks and getting a little over 110 dps atm @@tokopaaisen2927
The problem with WoW today is that there is TONS of conflicting information. In this video he basically says all that good blue loot can drop off of trash, but others tell me that they do not drop off of trash at all. They drop off of specific mobs. There are so many versios of WoW at this point, and so many videos filled with facts that were then changed by Blizzard that is 100% impossible to believe anything that you see or hear about this game. Sadly. Good video, but I can no longer take anyone's word for anything in this game.
Ran this for an hour as a solo lock, killed maybe 20+ mobs, got one green. Did they nerf the loot in here???
Try out the WC farm I mentioned at the end of the video. For purely gold, I think it is better GPH. This one though, is great if you can wear the shoulders because they are BIS

They do but I think there are better options to farm Waylaid supplies. Take a look at farms that are near where chests spawn
you can def solo much more than this, and you do want to kill the first boss if your an enchanter

How do you farm a instance without beeing forced to port out from it? As solo!
You can walk back to the entrance of the instance, right click on your character frame and hit reset instance. At that point when you go back in, everything that you killed will be back

@@nonameileosYou must not keep up with changes but Scorpid got nerfed at least a week ago now. WC is hard to solo even for a 25 Hunter due to all the sleeps the Druids cast on you.
I think it is possible to solo him. I tried twice on my hunter with about half pre-bis gear and a cat. I died early the first time but got him to about 4 percent the second try. I think with a bit better gear and tankier pet someone could do it. Everything else was pretty easy up until that though.

For your pet to get experience, the mob will have to be at least green in relation to your character level

don't know if this farm is worth it, the good items have like 0.0X droprate, which is 1:1000 at best. If you get a carrionbird with screech you can cleave down WC and make easy 20-30g per hour with your HS at crossroads, can even take a bag instead of a quiver and fill it up as the ammo goes down, so easy 2 full clears per hour, you can even sell the blues in there to people.

Bear and not carrion bird pet?
Found this farm before I found the carrion bird. Carrion bird can do well here but I find the major hangup is tanking a long fights due to single target damage. I feel like if you have a couple decent pieces, the carrion bird should do fine but bear is a good backup if it keeps dying
Quick update, you can get a lvl 23 2h sword with + 11 agi, and it has almost the same weapon dmg as the polearm. So no need to farm rfk

@@GladiusGamingGG really quick farm. It drops off the boss to the right that has the two spear guards (the guards drop it). You can easily farm it with 3 people (maybe 4 with the pet nerfs)

This farm is not good. You might get 20s in 20 minutes at best. You cant rely on drops to make gold, you can easily not see a single green the whole run.
