Nah it's not like in Medieval times people knew exactly what everyone looked like. It's not like you had google to look up their faces. He'd hear maybe about some Ashen haired woman becoming empress. But he wouldn't guess that it's the lady barging into the vineyard. Imperial monarchs have more of a habit of showing up announced with a enormous entourage of retainers and retinue
She's not crowded yet
To be fair, her dad is still alive. She isnt empress until he dies and gives her the crown. She merely accepted it. I believe blood and wine happens right after the events of the hunt (canonically) so she isnt crowned yet and is merely an empress to be.

I'm so happy I had the Ending where she became a Witcher. At least she's happy and can do what she likes to do.
That was the whole point. People will argue, but it's a matter of perspective. Not to stand in her way, and be a good father figure. She is something like a "Deus Ex Machina". She was never made to rule or even to be a Witcher. But Witcher ending seems more realistic because Geralt is the one who was with her most of her life. The real ending would be her leaving after destroying the White Frost. She is not an empress, nor a Witcher...she is something more.

She doesn't hug Emhyr, @@lucadreier22. This is precisely why I've always thought Ciri is The Luckiest Monarch to ever Exist in Their World. She has The Love and Compassion of So many people (Emhyr, Geralt, Yen, Triss, Dandelion, Zoltan, Dudu etc.), and she hasn't even stepped up to rule yet.
She has seen soooo many things, things that Most Monarchs would wave away as Peasant Gossip or Fish Wives tales.
She has seen what war is like through The Eyes of Ordinary people. The Devastation.
She's goin' to be a Great Ruler.
I think all the references to Ciri being Emhyr's daughter must really make Geralt want to say "He might be your father. But I am and always will be your Dad. Please don't forget me. "
I think this scene is a bit of an afterthought for them given the vast majority of players will have Yen or Triss come instead.

She doesn't have his dna, but she has his hair, his personality, his skill with the blade...even his scars she shares...she might not have his blood, but Geralt is her real father.
She’s noticeably posher in this ending rather than the witcheress one. More regal, and departed from Geralt. Although the empress ending is the more bittersweet, beautiful ending, the witcheress one is far more wholesome.
Gerault tries not to criticize his daughter's revealing clothes for five minutes.
Nilfgaard winning the war with Ciri as empress is probably the best ending for the Witcher world as a whole.
Nilgaard is far less superstitious than the Northern Kingdoms and will likely put an end to the Church of the Eternal Fire and their near daily witch burnings
Nilfgaard treats non-humans much better than Northerners do in-general and with them ruling most of the North the Scoia'tael would probably be allowed to return to Dol Blathana and with that a raise in elf birthrates
And with Ciri at the helm it is nearly guaranteed all of these things and more will be true if they wouldn't be with Emyr.
All factually correct, yet that ending feels sad. Ciri becoming a Witcher and the North winning is the worst outcome for the world, yet feels like the happy one (with the North conquering the invaders and Ciri doing what she really wants). CDPR really did nail the story and made it like real life, where there is not a happy endings for all, it’s just about perspective...
Your assuming a lot there first the reason emyr wanted ciri was to marry and knock her up games didn't address that but that's his reason even if ciri avoids incest with daddy she would have to run a empire with basically no experience been good with a sword and magic powers don't make you a good ruler she would be manipulated at every turn by advisors and most likely killed as soon as she had a child as they would be easier to control look at any ending we're the North wins emyr gets assassinated he's strong and clever and it doesn't last long the second he fails ciri is much better off as a witcher
karl parker I wouldn’t say she would be killed cause she is very op if you were to power scale her but yea most people completely forget about the politics side of her ruling and Ciri could never read people the way you have to, to be a ruler
@@louiswaze4603 Ciri isn't put on the throne right away as soon as the game ends. In Blood and Wine she says the Emyr is still on the throne while she is being taught how to be an empress.
She'll at least have a baseline knowledge on what to do. And Emyr wasn't much better off in these departments when he retook the throne after the Coup d'etat.
Also it is resolved in the books that Emyr is no longer interested in having an incestuous relationship with Ciri. It was for political reasons to begin with but in the end he decides it's not worth it.
Screaming Meat I think ciri would pick up the knowledge faster then most people but you have to remember she doesn’t really care about being empress (at least not in the game I haven’t read all the books) so that would also hinder her learning since she wouldn’t always be 100% eager to work/learn. And it’s common sense that not everyone will be pleased with ciri as a ruler so she would find herself dealing with a lot of hassle and you must keep in mind ciri is not a manipulator or a master strategist, I think she would be a great ruler if there wasn’t inside politics but I don’t think she could handle or see through a lot of people’s deception and dirty tactics, remember she’s a trainer Witcher not a leader/politician

The moment I heard that I insta reloaded my saves and went back in time and fix it. Now emhyr is 6 feet under. Had to sacrifice roach and ves though 😭😭.

It's weird that, considering Ciri can teleport, she can't be both Witcher AND Empress.
Why not just rule on the weekdays, pop in and out for a game of Gwent or a contract with pops on the weekend.
because every enemy of hers would be constantly trying to kill her, and because nobody would dare pay the empress a few coins for witcher work risking her life, if Emhyr found out and she got hurt they'd prob be hanged

It's not unrealistic to imagine Ciri would want to live her dream as a monster slayer, while also fulfilling her hereditary obligations. And in doing both, she improves everyone's lives by being a fair ruler AND by killing monsters and saving people.
This is rather sad for Geralt as Ciri really digs Emyr and starts to think of settle down by offering him a position.
If Geralt were to take Ciri's offer to be her court witcher, Geralt would be to Ciri what Corvo Attano is to Emily Kaldwin.

"I could secure you a comfortable position as court witcher." Let me tell you a story about King Foltest. Save the man from an assassin one time and end up shackled to him as his pet witcher. Guy lasts one month until I have to watch him get his throat slit by a man with entire sides of beef for arms. Hell no.

That means Ciri still can meet Geralt whenever she wants. Now she can use teleport freely because Wild Hunt is gone, so it isnt hard xD
@Fernando Reimpell Bravo It is your taste to what "happy" and "unhappy", for me I feel wrong when Ciri became witcher, witchers are those men who suffer many experiments, few of them were survive, and became unemotional. In the end Geralt lived peacefully with Yen or Triss, gave up a witcher's way. So I feel wrong for Ciri when she had to live a danger life and wander around and die somewhere not on the bed when Geralt is a landlord of big vineyard in Toussaint :)

I love this ciri as empress ending...it more logical and realistic for Whicher world. Because as a viewers story might end at a note of "and they live happily ever after" but as character life goes on for them with action and consequences.
In my opinion If we consider Whicher ending it's not all happy ending if you think about it. Ofcourse for few years of training she spent with Geralt were best. Then she goes for monster hunting only by herself alone and became the femous "ashen hair Whicher with scar on her face". But emperor is not stupid he will instantly recognize her or enquire about her. And obviously he will try to bring her back. In my opinion at this point she will consider to become empress. because it's fun being Whicher but it's child's dream, after wondering alone all over the continent she realize that she could do much better at power. This is one arc as of realization, self discovery and responsibility.
(2)If she refuse then real problem will begin, emperor will get really pissed at Geralt, because he told lie straight to his face about Ciris death. Now he can't harm Ciri of course because of she's hair To The Throne. Meanwhile he definitely send Army to kill Geralt. Now his and yen/triss will constantly be on run for rest their life. In this condition she will have to choose to fight the most powerful emperor (could be possible plot for Whicher 4. And at the end after defeating her father she stil had to become queen due to lack of rightfull candidate to avoid chaos) or make some deal with her father in exchange for Geralt's life. So either way sooner or later she ended up becoming empress.(Sry for english)

It’s really the best thing that can happen...Ciri can finally reign in the Empire and use its power for good. Even if all she does is not go to war with anyone to expand the Empire then it’s a plus.
Did the emperor ending today, (no dlcs yet) it's what ciri wants but seeing her so sad, realizing she won't see her friends often was just too much.
The witcheress way however blew my mind completely, was the first ending I got (not on purpose). From being sad to completley happy, love it.

Also, she doesn't have to be empress forever. She can step down or refuse to be even coronated. After all, she does consider it. I think that if there will be a sequel, then she will have changed her mind so that it doesn't change the entire story. Unless it will be centered around someone else.

Its a good alchemy armor actually, raises toxicity to 160 I think? You can drink 2 decoctions! And increases potion count by 1, + another one if you have the alechmy perk after being well rested on the bed, some potions go upto 7! :D :D

I agree with Dannie, the aesthetics on it are the best. Viper comes in second. The Ursine and Wolven sets look really nice in the earlier stages, but the more you upgrade them, the uglier they get.
I liked Viper Armor Set look cool you know. I even change the color of the armor from Original-grey-red-Ultimate Black. It's liked a Kamen Rider Kuuga thing(I felt the transformation) hahaha....Awesome :)

One of my play through I set up Ciri to become an empress. Gave skeligge to cerys killed radovid and made shit disappear that may inconvenience her. But somehow it feels she was not as happy as if she simply become a witcher

With the new game showing a Witcher medallion buried in snow/frost and Ciri's lines about thinking to leave the empress thing behind, it might be her game. Pick the ending you got for 3 so some lines and maybe the prologue change and voila.

Ciri being an Empress is the best ending, I mean, she can even take Geralt to live in a palace and live a luxury live (if he wants to) once she takes the throne lol, and Emhyr probably doesn't mind, because I believe he has proved himself a good father to Ciri (hence why she calls him papa) and he has that chance because Geralt helped him.

If you realised already, that this is ciris true ending/ destiny. Princess of cintra and nilfgaard, and then becomes empress of the whole continent. And Geralt protected the future ruler of the future.

My head cannon has always been that Ciro’s pretty busy with Empress stuff for the first few years but once stuff settles down she’ll teleport for weekly dinners with Geralt and Yen.

It makes no sense that ciri acts like they won't hardly be able to see each other again during the "empress" ending in white orchard, ciri can literally teleport anywhere and to any realm in an instant, sure she will be busy with the politics and such if being a leader, but it's not like she cant see Geralt whenever she wants.
And giving up her sword just felt overly dramatic, a monarch needs a sword too, she can certainly handle defending herself and leaders often have to protect themselves, so giving up the sword was just dumb.
That's the only problems I have with that ending, otherwise I think it's better overall. Nilfgard gets a peaceful and wise ruler who is of elder blood, and ciri can still make time (literally as the lady of space and time) to see her friends and family and even go on the occasional contract with Geralt as a part-time Witcheress.
They tired to force that ending seem like some sad goodby when in reality it's just the beginning.

Luthfi Adi and in the process killed her grandmother and everyone she’d ever loved, traumatising her for life, waking up screaming for years. And he definitely didn’t want to find her to be a father he wanted her for power (an heir in the games) and a wife in the books. There’s no justification
