This song was YEARS before it's time. I am a white South African and remember hearing this song as a young man, it shocked the living daylights out of me.....
Man, this song brings back memories.... used to travel in the taxi to school rocking this song... Thanks for uploading... BTW: If you have not realised, i'm a durbs charou, but been away from home for a while, so lovely to be reminded of the old days ;-) Those that are still racist need to discover the world!!!!
WHAT KIND!!!! USED TO DALLA THIS TUNE AND ALL!! TO THE JOLS NIGHTMARE DOGGPOND RAPPA CLAPPER EARTH ANGEL ..DURBAN RANX PINETOWN RANX...OUTIE STYLE!!!........
I miss the old days. There was law and order. Everyone knew their place. There was no rape, xenophobia, unemployment, mass murder. Now its just mad max lawlessness and savagery.
Not so sure you know what you're talking about. South Africa was a war with so called "freedom fighters" and its population was at war with one another. Faction fighting and xenophobia is as old as the hills. Roles have just been reversed. So my suggestion to you is to take south african history and try to aquire atleast a masters. Preferably a doctorate degree. Then continue to read and study history as written by the Dutch, French German, Belgian, British and other foreign settlers in Africa. Aswell as the different African tribes versions of there pastoral migration southwards from central africa And you may have a meaniful comment to contribute.
