I went to Bowling Green, OHIO all 4 years Plowden was there, we had some pretty decent teams and players but he was always the one with NBA potential. Im telling you this kid can jump outta the building. He needed to work on his shot the most and over the years he has, work ethic unlike anyone else. I worked for BG football as an intern in 2019 and would take the bus at 6/7am to get to the stadium and every morning Daeqwon was on there getting off to work at the arena. You guys got more than a steal, you got a legit piece that will help later in the years
LOVED Juan T, but Plowden looks a whole lot better. Agree they both have that motor, but JTA's shot was serviceable at best and his mobility could never truly match his hustle & heart. Plowden is much better athletically on both sides of the ball But yeah, our roster is looking like it has similar, hungry "young vets" like we had in '22. I'm loving it

Absolutely a believer! I saw him a few weeks ago hit 6-9 threes smooth almost didn’t break a sweat! I was like sign him before some other team… He looked the best guy on floor, like lottery pick level… Had to do some intel. His D was excellent dunking on people stays in flow of offense. People in camp better watch out this dude is coming for minutes! Very athletic and very smooth at same time that’s rare air!👏✍💼
Kcp is such a good comp… from those highlights he seems like a hustle player/athlete turned into shooter like a JR smith did later in his career. Hustle player, high motor, shooter, athlete, driver, good sg/sf size… he checks off a lot of boxes, I’m also excited now lol…. The guard position just got even deeper! (Podz, hield, melton, curry, gp2, moody, plowden, etc lol)
Yeah I don’t want them to trade either of them I think moody still has a chance of staying maybe but gp2 just feels like he doesn’t fit in the team that is currently being built, his inability to shoot just puts him at a massive disadvantage
I’d keep moody and GP2, I’d trade Wiggins and podz for Lauri. if healthy, gp2 is still our #1 defender on the roster esppecially come playoffs. Plus he gives us versatility playing as small big man, no other player does that. Moody is just an X factor needed for every team, who hasn’t played but has proven he can impact a game when he does. Maybe we sign him for a friendly contract end of next season due to the log jam and lack of minutes (but not fair to him tbh). Plus remmeber melton only signed a one year deal, he probably plans to be a one and done like divincenzo so moody would be needed even more if he leaves. If gp2 and moody play poorly this season tho, then we let them walk in free agency and pay up kuminga and melton to extend their contract. I think that’s a Win win situation but risky because if moody and gp2 play well we probably can’t pay all 4 next year (kuminga, gp2, moody, melton). Podz has high value rn tho so I’d leverage that and trade podz and Wiggins plus 2 first and 2 pick swap for Lauri plus clarkson. This is a nice trade for Utah too: allows them to go full tank mode for the #1 overall pick and gets picks, a promising triple dub threat in podz, and flip Wiggins for a first round pick or multiple seconds. Warriors go all in now on curry’s timeline while keeping most of the young core together (TJD, kuminga and moody). I’m also kinda ok with switching kuminga for podz but lowkey think id regret this because kuminga and Mauri would be a cold inside out compliment on offense and defense.

He was chill and said he's excited about Dallas but he didn't look excited.... I think he's deeply saddened by everything that took place.
We are beginning to look DEEP and COMPETITIVE again. As long as Kerr runs it right, we will definitely become thorns in some teams side.. We have shooters in the starting 5 and on the bench. We yave some much needed defenders, more important we have a few guys to hold it down while Steph takes his normal vacation. Leave the Spurs out and run this. We have plenty of time...
hopefully the assistant coaches will help keep this team in check in terms of discipline and also help Kerr as well. I felt like Atkinson was a “yes man” for him. Mike Brown wasn’t like that and that’s why the team did good with him. Last year they blew too many leads and bc it of, they were the 10th seed. When they could’ve been a top 5 seed had they not blown at least half of them. Kerr needs to be better tho, the youth is what helped them last szn. He has to trust it. We have depth but I do think that they are only missing a certified 2nd option behind Curry and another big. Ik Mike isn’t done yet this offseason but I like the direction this team is going

Heat have done this for a few years now, where they swap out guys on 2-way contracts regularly since they don't count against the cap. I'm a bit surprised more teams don't do this.

I love the signing after watching him in summer league. The other things I've enjoyed seeing in summer league is TJD and Bolden contesting every attempt at a layup. It's been a while I've seen a warriors lineup with that level of rim protection. As much as I like the signing, it further complicates our guard/wing rotations with Podz, Moody, Lester, GP2, Kuminga, Wiggins, leaving Kerr with more options to mess around with rotations. All I can say is thank God Klay walked. I'd like to see Wiggins traded for some size. If you look at the Dallas blueprint, they had a proven rotation for the last half of the season, allowing them to get maximum chemistry and effort out of role players like PJ and Jones Jr. I think it's going to be another messy and unproductive season.
Alch, you are correct, you can swap the two-way guys and drop them - warriors literally do that every off season. Remember, last season, they signed Javan Johnson just like Beekman immediately post-draft to a two-way contract... then dropped him even before preseason. So those two-ways are fluid.
This is interesting. We’re still small though, so I agree that it’s been disappointing not to see Quentin Post. Our small ball will be pretty fire 🔥 but I feel like Trayce, Dray, Loon gonna get worn down and banged up on rim protection/rebounding duty.throughout the course of a season.

As much as I like the signing, it further complicates our guard/wing rotations with Podz, Moody, Lester, GP2, Kuminga, Wiggins, leaving Kerr with more options to mess around with rotations. All I can say is thank God Klay walked. I'd like to see Wiggins traded for some size.
If you look at the Dallas blueprint, they had a proven rotation for the last half of the season, allowing them to get maximum chemistry and effort out of role players like PJ and Jones Jr. I think it's going to be another messy and unproductive season.

Alch, you are correct, you can swap the two-way guys and drop them - warriors literally do that every off season. Remember, last season, they signed Javan Johnson just like Beekman immediately post-draft to a two-way contract... then dropped him even before preseason. So those two-ways are fluid.
This is interesting. We’re still small though, so I agree that it’s been disappointing not to see Quentin Post. Our small ball will be pretty fire 🔥 but I feel like Trayce, Dray, Loon gonna get worn down and banged up on rim protection/rebounding duty.throughout the course of a season.
