- In this video I am in Oaxaca City as well as Mexico City with the new DJI Air 3. I had the chance to test it out in a variety of scenarios and it performed absolutely amazing. I am very impressed with the footage I was able to get out of this drone! The 3x lens allowed me to get very intimate and diverse shots and textures for my final edit. The air 3 is a great travel drone because its so qiuet and lowkey however the image quality and flight characteristics are great for a solo travel filmmaker.

Beautiful. Liked. All the best
Many thanks
I have both the mini 4 pro and the air 3. Was doubting the use case of the air 3 considering it's the same sensor as the mini 4 pro. But I am blown away by the battery life and the ability to fly 5km out at high altitudes, shoot as long as you did and still make it back to home point. The mini 4 pro could make a one way trip but defo not make it back due to flight time! Amazing....Love the Air 3 now :)
Amen! I’m glad you got some value from the video, sure the minis are good but you can’t beat the long range ability and the speed of the air 3 it flies more like a Mavic and the 3x lens is awesome to have as well
What a beautiful place bro
Congratulations brother, you have discovered the secret of long range flight. Launching from a high up rooftop is the best and safest way to fly your drone. I've been launching from a 31 story High Rise in Vietnam for 5 years now. No one bothers me up there. I also have the Air 1, Air 2, Mini 2 and now the Air 3. The Air 3 is the absolute best. Others might see your drone and look for you but like you said, you are safely far away on your rooftop. They will never find you without special equipment. Sometimes I go out into the community but it's rare. I live in the center of town and I can fly anywhere in the city from my location on the rooftop. If I can see the location, I can get to it. The best part of "The Secret" is that you get the maximum performance out of your drone. With the Air 3 I have pushed it out 8 to 9 Km on a clear low wind day and 8 or 9 Km back. You just have to be aware of where you are and where your drone is at all times. Never fly behind anything and if you accidently do, then make sure your RTH setting is set to rise and return to home. All my drones are DJI and I have never lost a drone by fly away. Your Video is outstanding ! Please take a look at my youtube page, I think you will like my videos.
Good stuff man! Thanks for the long comment. Keep up the good work, you should get yourself on camera more too, I think it will help your channel grow. I love Vietnam man, I’ll let you know next time I’m in the area.
Great video! I love my air 3!! Just subscribed. Thank you
Awesome job!!!!!!!
Awesome work as usual sir! I love air3 many of my films I shot with the Air3. When you get back to the bay we should link up someday! Appreciate the detail in all your videos.
Wonder how many travelers from outer space have landed at that location back in the day. Probably a lot. Great video 👍
probably a lot of aliens, i bet they got some super sick footage before the humans built stuff haha
Wow love your air3 bro.. happy new Year
Beautiful shots dawg
thanks man! Hmu if you wanna shoot again soon, we gotta get you back on the drone haha
962ft+ 😮
Maybe you could share what shooting settings did you use in the sample footage? I am mostly concerned about the oversharpness of the footage, which to my eye is obvious, especially in those daylight shots. At some point it was almost too hard to tolerate that sharpness on the buildings, I guess you did not go minus 2 on the slider, right? And to be honest It seems that the wide angle camera is way too worse than on the m3pro? or not? Or maybe it's just me. However the signal is just mindblowing.. I am myself thinking about getting one, having an Inspire 2 for my professional use and even still owing a Phantom 4 from the good old days :)
Love my Air 3. Just wish these drones were a little more well built. If you hold them too tight you break them.
Awesome video, I’m trying to decide a used mavic 3 cine premium or a brand new air 3, what would you do ? Also what do you set the altitude of RTH, I presume it’s 200m especially over a city ?
Air 3 all day! 3x lens is clutch , I just had it to smart RTH, it’s very reliable
Nice

You are a braver man than me taking that drone as far as did! What are the local rules in Mexico for flying drones? Any issues with VLOS or even getting the Air 3 into the country? What about height restrictions? You mention staying away from people and the police. Were you braking any local laws? Great video!
Yep. Everything you read says don't do it in Mexico. Killed me leaving mine at home when I went.
@LucizenFilm How did you get the permission to fly there? Especially DJI Air 3? Nice video!
just send it my man!
@@LucizenVisualsI tried 2021 in Mexico, but it was impossible to legally fly for a non Mexican tourist. ...Are you mexican? Or what's your secret?
Is it allowed to fly in this city !
yes sir, send it!
Since 2019 flying drone in Mexico is forbidden for all person that are not Mexican national .
Why does the quality look horrible? Are you filming in D-Log? You need to zero the sharpness aswell.
Do I see a complete disregard for Mexican aviation rules, or did you somehow get authorization for this flight. If you didn't, there are a whole lot of things wrong with this video. I hate to be the party pooper, but as someone who also flies in Mexico (sub 250 gram because it's legal for foreigners), I'm worried that flights like this can go wrong and lead to stricter rules and enforcement for the rest of us. You're also flying right through an enhanced warning zone, apparently at an altitude that is completely illegal.
😭
