Just seeing the character I don't know why I feel like I'll like him a lot. I think he reminds me of Rost in some ways. He seems like a lone warrior, strong and not too talkative, but mostly broken by his past.

Lance's voice as Sylens is so awesome and distinct that every time I hear his voice it puts you in a cliffhanger moment commands your attention to hear what he has to say.

It also sounds like his voice is coming through a speaker(even when face to face), which makes him sound inhuman, very fitting of his character
Talk abt distinct~i didnt knw who lance was even tho i spent more than 400hrs on zero dawn. Not long ago I was watching young sheldon n saw this guy playing as a professor who looks really familiar, n its until he speak I then realised that’s Sylens!!!

Lance Reddick is such a great actor, voice or on screen. He has a powerful voice and can easily steal a scene. A perfect actor for Sylens.

Seven and a half minutes of heaven - could never get enough of hearing this talented group of people talk about bringing these amazing characters to life.
Forbidden West will be a top notch experience. Zero Dawn was a very solid foundation to the franchise and every aspect of the game looks to be ratcheted up a notch or two. Lookin forward to this next month and hopefully we see several more Horizon entries going forward.
Wow, Carrie-Ann Moss as Tilda: when I saw her character in the story trailer, first, I immediately thought that she's manipulative. She must be not a simple ally. It's incredible that not just Ms. Moss is capable to play on that exceptional level where we can understand the character she plays even just seeing it for 1-2 seconds only but the face-cap itself as well. Finally, the face-cap can display such fine details that the actress' talent can shine through the graphics. 🤘🏼 👏👏👏

This just made my day a thousand times better!! I absolutely love seeing all the behind the scenes stuff for video games. From seeing the voice actors recording their lines, to watching the motion capture for the cutscenes, and interviewing the cast about the characters they play, and learning more about the universe the game takes place in. It's all so breathtaking, and seeing how everything comes together to create something so beautiful as Horizon Forbidden West!! I don't know where people are at with the whole HFW vs ER. Having beaten both, I just want to say to Guerrilla; you guys have made a wonderful and unique game (and sequel)! The story you tell with HFW is so amazing, engrossing and involved . There is so much love put into it. There's absolutely no reason to be looking into the neighbor's yard. Be super proud of your game, the World you created and the experience for your fans. I can't wait for the next installment of this franchise or whatever you guys come up with next!

Such an amazing cast! Having them act and interact with each other while doing to mocap and voice work - actually embodying the story together in real time - makes the experience so much more rich and organic and has a huge emotional resonance and impact. And the art design, music and sound design is so great. This is probably the best game I’ve ever played.

Sure Xbox has Activision but the thing that they lack is the generation defining exclusives like Forbidden West that Sony has. As MBG said, Sony has something that can't be bought, and that's the sheer talent at SIE studios.

As a person who's played horizon zero dawn and finished it for the fourth time and loved it, I can't wait to see what the new world guerrilla gave us ( the players) and a aloy is going to look like. The new characters look amazing.

Watching this has literally made me tear up.
And now that I'm trying for PC only, it makes me tear up even more that it might be a 3-year wait until I get to play this, continuation, of a game that meant so much to me at a point in my life where it was really needed.

I can tell that EVERYONE in the cast did an INCREDIBLE job! Ashley's description of Aloy's relationship with Sylens as, "I hate this guy, but I need this guy" is so true & I agree 100%🤣. Not only getting to hear but also SEE Lance Reddick, John MacMillan, and John Hopkins reprising their roles as Sylens, Varl, and Erend was amazing to watch!
