- Wingsuit BASE jumping is often presented as a thrill seeking adrenaline rush. Spellbound takes us deeper into the more contemplative aspects of jumping, as David Walden and friends venture into the mountains around his home in New Zealand.
Beautiful scenery and hypnotic cinematography eject us from our daily lives into a world of air, earth and flight.

Wow this film really, really got to me. The cinematography, editing, and of course flying is unreal, but it’s those words, and their meaning that leaves the impact. It’s hard to explain, but anyone who spends a significant portion of their life doing risky, intentional, purposeful, beautiful, but dangerous activities with a team…yeah it just took my breath away. I can’t even explain it properly. Profoundly well written. Hats off.
