Just installed my iron man bar today, and this video helped a heap thanks for taking the time to make it, cheers
Probably the best how to video ever ! thanks mate
Watched it again. Just wish I could get this bumper in North America for my Frontier. Thanks Buddy.
Thanks for this mate, it made it much easier for me to install 👍🏻
Hey mate, Just got a new Np300 and was very stuck on which bullbar to go for! but this video has sold me. thank you! keep up the good work, love the vids!
Firstly, welcome to the club mate! and thanks i'm stoked you enjoyed it man. I was so torn between a few different types of bars but i am so stoked that i decided to run the ironman bar in the end. it looks so tough.
Thank god you doing another vid 🤣 been missing them bruz 🤙 keep up the good work
I was a bit slow on getting this one done 😅 winch install should coming out next! Then 🤞 suspension
thank you guys !
good stuff...picked up my 2018 navara this morning...looking to lose most of the plastic on the front...thumb up...mitchell - sunshine coast
God bless and give good health all of you, good job.
Fantastic video guys
I just purchased and installed a commercial deluxe Bullbar on my 2012 Nissan Navara D40 diesel. Problem is after looking at the chassis mounting brackets etc on the A.R.B bars are more simpler and cleaner installed.
Hey mate epic video, very informative, just went out & purchased the same bar for my rig looking forward to the install. Cheers 🍻
That's awesome mate 🤘🏼 nothing like new car parts 🙂
Great vid mate..... Lucky you had so many people helping 😂
It was a fun intall bro 😁
Awesome cover's everything...cheers
Looks a very capable bull bar nice job👍🇬🇧
cheers mate, she's still going strong.
Good work mate ! not many of these how to NP300/D23 around, i have been flying by the seam of my pants for years ! keep them coming !
That's alot of why i started making them Cam. I Couldn't find a lot of np "how too" videos when i was looking for them. I will do my best to keep the vids coming 😁 stoked that you are enjoying them.
you'll love the new comp shock install vid Cam 😀
Great video mate, very informative 👍
Thanks 👍
Thanks you legend 😉
Looking the goods mate.
Thanks for swinging spanners with me bro 🤙
👍👍👍great video n work
Thanks mate, I'm really diggin the look of it.
Awesome
cheers mate
Very similar process to installing the MCC bar although i didn't have to drill anything. Installed it myself with a forklift which was a mission. Personally prefer the look of the MCC (search DK Navara). Your snorkel installation will be helpful as i got a stainless to install shortly. Good Stuff!
That's wicked man, nice work! Everyone has their own tastes, the mcc bars do look the goods too. Stoked i could help 👍
good stuff mate
Gettin it done man 😁
I have a NP300 but in my country is call frontier I thing is the same !!! I’m crazy to do lot of things
defenitly considering selling my arb bullbar for one of these. Again loved the vid mate. keen to see it actually on the tracks ;)
Cheers Tom 🤙 I'm Waiting for my suspension kit to be ready so i can install it and hit some decent tracks.
@@jpcaptured799 get keen. What you getting bro
Thomas Longmore i ended up getting the Comp shock kit Tom 👍
Cool video was good to see a bar install. Is that factory position of the intercooler? Wouldnt wanna go through much muddy water holes, looks like it wouldnt take much to clog up being its so low.
Did you put touch up paint on all your fresh drilled holes to avoid rusting at a later date? And did you use loktite on those recovery point bolts, wouldnt want those coming loose at the wrong time.
Cool video, subscribed. Really enjoyed your snorkel install.
Hi mate did u do a video on the wiring for the lights in the end.
Good stuff mate, light bar next! There aren't any good videos for the NP300, would be very helpful!
that phone ring got me
Excelente como deseo allá aquí en Honduras para mi frontier np300
Gracias por ver este video.
Great video, need info on installation on a Y62
would it be possible to fit the recovery points after the bull bar brackets have been fitted or do they need to be removed to fit the recovery points?
Hey mate have you done a video yet for wiring in the indicators and parkers?
Question mate, let’s say i want to body lift my unit for about 1.5-2 inch do I need to fabricate for new mounting brackets for the bullbar or i just need to drill new holes on the existing original bracket that comes from the bar?
👍
Hey man love your vids keep up the good work!
I don't want to seem like smartass or preach like I am freaking 4wd guru which I'm not but it would be nice to put some GREASE on your bolts!!! Grease is really needed in my opinion because our 4wds go through dirt water etc so it's gonna be a pain to remove a bolt if needed! I prefer using Marine grease which is good for boats! Anyway much love all way from Greece to you man!!! 👋👋👋
P.S I have a Navara too! An old one (D22) and I might upgrade to a new NP300 or maybe an N guard in the near future!!!! You were the first channel that popped up when I searched for an NP on YT 👍
your right I need to use more grease/anti seize on the bolts on my installs. Food for thought brother, thank you.
Is this bar the commercial deluxe bar with the 50mm tube or the premium deluxe with the 60mm tube
I know the video is twelve months old, Do I have to remove the Bullbar to fit Roadsafe recovery points?
How difficult is the wiring for it ?
Hi what size tyres and lift do you have on the car?
Is there any gap between the bullbar and grill, or does the grill sit on top of the bar?
How did you connect the fog/driving lights up?
What´s up man. Hey I know you´re more than happy with your Np 300, but, after you bought it, did you regret your purchase, I mean would you have bought another brand instead? like Hilux or L200, thanks and great vid, thumbs up!
I hava ARB summit colour coded bar and about less than half of the plastic bumper is on there Ironman is a complete removal.
Looks dam good....
It's a great fit that's for sure. And the approach angle is nuts! Suspension is going on this weekend 🤙
Anyone installed one on an RX model?
Hey mate which iron Man Bar did you get. I wasn't sure if they all have the extra under side protection you mentioned in the video. Enjoy the work your posting quality viewing!
Hey Rob, firstly thanks mate, i'm stoked that you and others are enjoying my passion. This is the Commercial deluxe bar and in my opinion worth every bloody cent mate. the lights in the bar help break things up a bit and the approach angles are just epic..
what size tires are you running
Nice work!!
Now i have a nissan navara d23 SL , is it Np300 as well?
I not sure about what is NP300 means. And is it possible to fit same bull bar to my car ? If do wiring on the bull bar, is it able to use the light which already on the bull bar
Yup a d23 is the same as the NP300 what we call them in Aus
do you need to have a lift to support the heavy bull bar on ur np300 (so the front end doesn’t sag..) cheers 🤙🏻
Would help.
Genuine Nissan bars actually come with new front springs for the extra load.
I've got lift and checking out bars at the moment, and I'm still factoring in new HD springs.
I dig this positivity. Question, are you still running stock suspension? With the added weight every one says you need upgraded suspension aswell and then all this becomes real expensive. Cheers from South Africa
I've been told different answers by 2 different ironman dealers in Victoria. One said the STX NP300 post 2018 is good to keep the stock suspension then another one said I need new springs and struts for an extra $1300 on the price of the bar.
Does anyone know the correct answer?
Great work, the Ironman bull bar looks awesome 😎 how much does that bar weight approximately?
I'm not exactly sure, i will have to find out.
Cool👍
Have you done a video for the wiring ? I’m struggling with what to tap into
i seriously need to get around to doing this.. i'll try and get it done over the chrissy break.
Also keen for the wiring video
Good video, I just had mine professionally installed a day ago, however the gap between the body and my car is about 30mm in some areas which seems like a lot. Also the pin bolts are crooked, been jammed in and don’t have nuts on them. I’m not a fitter but this seems like poor workmanship and borderline unsafe. Thoughts from anyone who knows what they are doing?
Probably a little bit late now but i would say take it back to where you got it done and just point out what you have said here. Im sure if they’re decent people they will be able to explain to you for those things or say they will fix it up. If that doesn’t work get a third party opinion on it and get them to do it, idk if you will get your money back but either way i wouldn’t risk having a bullbar mounted incorrectly.
Just one question... How did you manager to get the M10 bolts in place after drilling them out? I can't get in behind to put a nut on it for the life of me
It is a struggle that's for sure.. I just persisted with the nut inside a spanner and finally got them to thread.
Yeah fair effort! I think I'll just redrill holes in an easier to access spot.
Hey mate just wondering how your kayhan headunit is going? Worth the 1K it sells for?
Mine cost me $795 from memory. Honestly i love it. It does everything i need it too and i still haven't had timeto scratch the surface of all the features.
@@jpcaptured799 cheers man I'll have to get one after the catch can and fuel filter upgrade.
Good video. 👍How long did it take to install?
Took us half a day with filming and a few people working on it.
Gee that’s pretty good. How have you found the d23? I’m currently running a d40 and looking to upgrade and was thinking of the d23.
@@cookiemonster324 i appreciated the d22 and d40 models. But i am really enjoying the D23, more than i thought i would. It's capable offroad and drives like a car onroad, so far I'm very impressed.
Right angle drill might of helped
Sure would have!
What bull bar is that
ironman bar matey
@@jpcaptured799 it looks nice im getting some all most tge same but one loop plus i got the new megatom lights from ironman 4x4
@@joshsthoughts3574 nice one mate, they look the goods as well. are you building up a NP300?
Wanna sell your factory bar and plastic bits?
Send me a message bro 👍🏼👍🏼
alll folded up and shoved in the bin sorry mate 😝 thanks for watching 👍
Your voice was made for TV. Great video and editing. The sound could be improved...
12 month warranty is quite a pathetic warranty period. Especially when you spend close to $2000. I bet the ombudsman would agree aswell
12 months is a pretty standard warranty time frame, i'm sure if there was a manufacturing defect they would fix it regardless of time frame.
Info is great but cameraman is moving a lot
cheers, I agree this is not my best install vid to date, but it was a lot of fun! 😉
12 month warranty for a 2000$ bar is a bit shit
Stop showing off the bar and get to it.
