Thank you for all the information! I did some research after watching the first time, and i did discover that the 868/915mhz keys CAN be generated with the KM100, but you must use the Ford Style High Frequency remote. Hopefully this helps anyone else with this concern!

For some reason I am tempted to think that the best tools from Autel are the IM508 and IM608 ... those are the ones that set Autel apart. Expensive but they do the job.

for some key types yes. but is not a simple process.
I'm not sure owners of premium cars, or even nice late model Toyota or Honda would want a universal key to replace the factory key. Will this program oem keys? And I see a $250 update fee which is more than half the cost of the tool. If you don't update after one year, will the tool still work?
The KM100 did not have any update fee at the time of me buying it. Yes it can be used on some vehicles to program/diagnose OEM keys.
Just on thing,if is all key lost and we make new with this autel but after maybe find original key,will original work ?
As the name says it ... all key lost will delete all keys and start fresh.

Hi, I was about to buy it to program e90 keys for my car but you mention that it wont program 868mhz bmw. What other tool can you recommend us for this frequency please ? (Cheapest if possible)
for only 1 key you are better of getting someone else to code it and cut it. in the UK a key + cut + code is less than GBP150. You don't have a tool to do it at that pricepoint. Autel IM508 will do it. Xtool has some units that can do it.
I just did my e90 key today with this tool, e90 normally use 315mhz. The tool worked great.

Can you unlock keys that have been programmed with xtool d7s
unlocking keys is not dependent on the programming tool. It can unlock any original key that it has on the database. don't know about proprietary keys from Xhorse
Is this working for Audi A3 all lost keys??
It will depend on the generation of A3, personally I have not used it on any audi, however I have seen it in the menu.
Will this tool program keys on late model Volvos?
I did not test it on Volvos yet .

Are you sure it's cannot work with cas 2, or cas3 868 mhz on the site covered not wrote that thing!!!?
My problem with it, is that the Autel KM100 can't make 868 keys for bmw. It can make 868 keys for FORD or some other strange brand. Also The universal keys autel have just don't cover that option because the majority of bmw are other Hz. Now the programming capability of the unit is not related to the Hz. that is another thing all together. Did not have any old BMW to test compatibility, but I expect it to be able to do it.

How the xtool kc501 compares to km100
don't know the answer for that. Did not have access to any Xtool with the KC501 programmer.
I have made the universal key but not yet programmed can it unlock
what do you think is the most likely answer ?
@@BestCarMods so universal key once is locked then cannot be unlocked like other original key used for other model
@@johnpham9038 the Autel universal key can be unlocked. you can do that from the km100 without having to open up the key and connect wires. check the menu. this is the big advantage with these keys. you can use them and reused without to much work.

KM100 can't do any BMW from 2010 onwards. You need IM508 . However KM100 can generate a key that you can code with other more advances tools from Xtool H6Pro or their dedicate Key programming tools. I am not familiar with the Audi Q8s . @@MoBro-mf5tg

Men I bought this 💩 at Amazon for $450 this 💩 is trash 🗑️. It couldn’t even clone my BMW e46 key. I tested this device for 2 weeks before returning it
