Co-founder of Goodhair, a prestigious hair company and a restauranteur, Chioma talks about starting her hair business at age 18 with her best friend, Kika. She also let's us into the Ikokwu home with stories of her childhood, growing up as a tomboy as well as her time schooling in England.

Wow, so refreshing. My opinion i don't think chioma should leave RHOL now, cos this is like the first reality show aside big brother that has really been successful with large viewing from Nigeria down to most part of Africa. Most of the audience are just getting introduced to what reality show really is, so they are watching it with emotions which is normal. The beginnings are always hard and frustrating cos you are facing an audience that most of are alien to what reality show is. As more seasons comes the audience grow with the show and begin to watch with a different perspective and less toxic reactions.
As someone who has followed reality show from the early years of keeping up with the Kardashians, housewife franchise, married to medicine etc i have grown to watching only reality show more than other programmes showing on tv. So the Audience will grow and the show will become better as time goes on. Like iyabo said you are the pioneers of Real housewives of Lagos, if you live the show now, you are giving someone else a free leverage to come enjoy the effort you have put in proving to us reality show is possible in Nigeria. Cos sincerely i have believe reality show like Housewife franchise will never work in Nigeria, people will not be interested. But sincerely the cast made it happen. Like people subscribing digital TV to watch. You ladies should take your flowers 🌹. You did it. You have cleared the way for more to come in. Thank you to all the cast of real housewives of Lagos

This is a very good breakdown of the audience. To be honest I thought Nigerians were very exposed to reality TV but you may be right. The way people have been over the top about the things they have seen blows my mind the way they get passionate and to be honest the overly negative comments are what I used to see 20 years ago when reality TV was introduced to us in the UK. People took everything literally and as factual. Hopefully they will be calming down when they realise that reality TV is all about creating a lot out of nothing

Now this is how a podcast is done . Toke Makinwa talks more about herself on every interview . The guests barely gets 15 minutes of talk time in a 30 minutes interview but this was different . He listened, he probabed, he asked good questions and the guests did more of the talking . Amazing !

Loool gosh I hate it when people don’t comprehend. Firstly, if you are filmed for 24hrs, do you think you might do some things you feel might be misinterpreted or won’t look good to others? Be honest. We all have our moments, they are humans…sometimes you act off even when you try your very best. This is just generally speaking. So let me help you to understand what she said…she said there are some cast members that asked for certain things to be removed but production didn’t. She wasn’t speaking about herself in particular. Also, Chioma said it was the toxic environment her family felt she didn’t need…and she doesn’t absolute control over that. She even said they do have a lot of fun, which was evident in like 3 episodes that ended on very good notes. Lastly, if you truly watch this and re-analyze all that happened in rhol esp this season, you will understand better that at the end of the day, the drama was exaggerated without proper context.
I totally misunderstood her from the outside peeping in. I honestly thought she was a Nene Leakes or Quad from US. I’m feeling different.
