Up late haunted by an old comic story based on magic, but predicts tech and humanity far too well

Timothy Hunter and the book of magic made reference to technology getting replaced instead of fixed, and for no one to have any idea at all how it originally worked to begin with.
The next was about humanity, and how they came to live in caves and eat spiders. basically all the light had gone because of universal expansion and life had become overwhelmingly oppressive. Just like being young today.
