Just be glad that you live in a time where not only do you have access to basically every song ever, but you're also able to listen to indie musicians who do not produce pop-metal. If you see a label that signs bands you think suck, just tell yt not to recommend their videos and go dive for "true metal". It is out there, and will continue to be produced

Listening to their older music they seem to have gone the same way Battle beast did. Though it's not as bad. I'll have to listen to more of their old stuff but they historically made heavy metal tracks and this is definitely more of a fast pop song then the older stuff, which is much heavier and sounds like a battle anthem. The song also gives off political vibes which will unfortunately turn people away as well but it's why I like it. Perhaps, ironically, this song burns the bridges with their older fans as the band moves on to explore new genres. I like them both. They have different energies to them to be sure. Sometimes bands just get bored and want to do other things. I write rarely and I get ideas for a massive amount of different stories.

It holds just as much weight as complaining about video games being political/too political, when video games had a long *burned in* history of being political -- no pun intended, but welcomed. Not every game is like Super Mario Bros. or Sonic the Hedgehog, for example, where going from point A to point B is relatively simple and does not involve such themes; similarly, not every song is like "Animal Crackers in my Soup", neither are they akin to most popular Christmas songs or other religious gospels. It cannot be understated that sending messages (can) occur rather often under music and video games. Even politics happen in businesses, too, primarily within the corporate branch for obvious reasons.
It is hard burning bridges. But sometimes you have to in order to crsate some distance. Sometimes you can be TOO close. Just go with it and burn everything before you until it happens.

I was unprepared... At the day of the release I was so sad because this wasn't the Majesty that I love and adore. But! The more I listen to this song, the more I like it. I was just unprepared for something new out of their comfort zone. I think this album will be great, and I will always follow my favourite band like I always have.
