I watched someone else's video and thought "there must be an easier way," then had to go out of town but came back to see you do it so much easier -- I didn't even have to pick up my thinking where I left off.😊 They are all lovely and I'm sure I can whip out a few in no time. I made these for Christmas cards years ago. easier using a long strip about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Glue the strip down trim, then add you piece.
Just watching after but my fix is for that smidge of a corner that too short is use your Stampin blend to fill it in. Just a thought !

I had a Mossy Meadow ink pad that was all bumpy and SU replaced it. I made one card with the narrow strips and one wiithout. I like the added strips. I also chose to use white butterflies because when I sponged the butterflies, I didn't feel like the Calypso Coral matched the card stock very well.

So easy. I’ll be doing all my split cards following this example.
I’m watching the replay and love both cards, I like the extra card stock edging, it just sets it off better. You can 🎉use a post it note to cover the other butterflies if you don’t want the extra ink on them . Thanks for a fun video.

Lisa, you talked about a new stamp pad being weird when you opened it. I had the same experience with a new Bubble Bath ink pad and had to throw it away. Did you contact Stampin Up about it?
